I couldn't wait for m ELA to arrive so I picked up a P+ 18650 slant. I'm not sure how I could like my ELA more than this, but I'm looking forward to the comparison. Five minutes after the post office delivered the box I had my eBaron Spiral on it and away I went! Thanks, David!

Sorry the pics are sideways

This really isn't helping me with my current dilemma, Kyndcookie!

I've been debating whether I should pick up an 18650 (UK distributor is out of stock of 18500s with flat cap so that's a no go for me!) or wait until the ELA finds its way over here. How are you finding the size/weight of the 18650?

With the battery it's substantial. I don't have a scale so no precise weight available. It's about the same as my Provari 18650. Maybe a little less. The mod itself is not heavy at all. Most of the weight comes from the battery itself. The Spiral doesn't weigh much either. Sorry to be so vague...

Not at all - that's a really useful comparison. I use 18650s in my ProVari most of the time and I quite often find myself wrapping my pinky around the bottom of the extension cap and using my thumb to fire the button. Sounds like the P+ 18650 would be a good fit for me!

Thanks,

JJ
