Okay, so I started vaping at the end of last year, around November if I remember correctly. Anyways, fast forward to around the Oscars were broadcast and I lost it. I work for ABC and we produce the show, so you can imagine of all the stress that I had to go through come show time. At that time, I was vaping the 510 and prior to the Oscars, it was heaven on earth. Unfortunately, when I needed my 510 the most, it started failing on me. I just couldn't take it anymore with the maintenance, leakage, and cart mods, that I fell back down the rabbit hole and started going back to analogs.

Fast forward to last week when I decided to try out vaping again. I looked around and found that the 510 had an older brother. The new Joye eGo. So I looked around for some reviews and heard nothing but positive responses so I took the dive and ordered the eGo starter kit last Thursday.

I received my kit today, it came in a nice package. I opened it up and I was surprised at the look of the thing. It's just a little bigger than the 510 but it still manages to pull off the sexy elegant look. The first thing I did was plug one of the batts to charge because I was headed off to work. To my surprise it came fully charged! I thought to myself, "Great! I can quit analogs today and start using my eGo!" So I assembled my little baby together and primed the atty with the Health Pear juice which was included in my order; all I have to say is WOW. This thing is a champ. I had an old 510 battery that I charged lying around and compared it to that, it was no contest. The eGo wins hands down. Nice vapor production, nice flavor, great throat hit. Everything was perfect. The juice is also nice. I love the smell and taste. It's definitely one to keep for the record books.

I barely had this unit for 3 hours, been vaping non stop and the batty is still going strong. I brought the usb charger with me to work as I am testing out how long the batty last with my usage. I consider myself a moderate to heavy vapor user. We'll see by the end of the night how that goes.

I do have to say, I am already planning to buy my spare parts pretty soon. I want to get 2 extra battys, 2 sets of the cartomizers (5 in a pack), and 2 extra chargers (one for the car and two for the house), and a EZ refill kit. Now my question is, should I go for the 900 mAh or stick with the 650 mAh battys?

Thanks for the time. It's good to be back.

LOL and thanks

The eGo is my best friend right now.
The 650mahs do their job.
Now, If you are a heavy vaper, then the 900mah are ok, they are just 1/2" longer.

I have been using two batts for the last 2 months + one is a 650mah ego, one a hello 016 1300mah. Still going strong. The only dif I see is maybe an hour or two.
The 900 ego could possibly beat that, but I dont use it so cant say first hand.
2 batts get me thru the day.
I know batts lose % of their max charge after so long, but even after 60-80 charges,
I have yet to see it.
That is the beauty of the eGo.
Most (if not all) batts are rated for 300 charges, and with only having to charge it once or twice a day, that means, it is gonna last a while.
510 batts, jeez that is like 2-4 hours. Have to charge them 2-5 times a day.
Then the lifespan is degraded to under 6 months.

Thanks for the reply and all the info.

Today was a bad day, I already lost one batty. I don't know if it fell out of my pocket or if I missed placed it but I was freaking out the whole day. The feeling of loosing my baby is the worst. Anyways, I went ahead and ordered 3 new 650mAh batts, 2 chargers, 2 cartos (5 pack), and two EZ refill tools.

I was planning on getting the ego case as well but I had to go to traffic court today. I got pulled over for doing a rolling stop while making a right turn on a red light, the cop gave me a red light violation. Worst mistake to do here in LA. $510 down the drain. So I didn't have enough to get the case. It's alright though, at least I got the more important accessories out of the way. Should last me awhile.

Hope your having a good vacation!

P.S. I was wondering if it was possible to put a couple extra business cards of yours so I may give it out to people who are curious and want to know more about vaping?

Thank you so much! I truly appreciate it. I can't wait to try out the eGo cartos.

I have been vaping the Health Pear all week using the second set which came with the starter kit and I have to say, it's my favorite juice of them all. It has a slight pear flavor and the smell is just right. The consistency isn't too thick or too thin so it makes it easier for the atty to get all the juice from the cart.

I already have in mind of what I'm going to order when I get my check in in two weeks. Haha. Seeing as I have to go to San Francisco in the end of august, I'm probably going to get some Kr8 cartos and extra adapters so I can bring that instead of using the eGo cartos. I don't want the hassle of TSA asking me why I'm bringing a syringe on board the craft, and since I am not going to check any baggage in, I pretty much have no choice but to bring it on board. At least the Kr8 cartos do not need the EZ refill kit. I think switching from the eGo cartos for when I'm not traveling to the Kr8 cartos when I do travel would be a good mix.

Yeah, the eGo carto and KR8 carto both have their time and reason.
The KR8 carto does last a good amount of time to be able to fill just a few for a days worth (depending on usage).
The eGo carto just gets you spoiled when it is time to fill er up!, lol

We dont know longevity on the eGo carto yet, but the KR8 lasts for a good 15 refills,
sometimes more.
The KR8's rubber end caps and small overall size, is pleasant and portable to take with you anywhere. Ease of refilling is on its' deans list!

Thanks for the advise. I went ahead and ordered the adapters and 2 sets of Kr8 cartos. I also got some extra covers for my eGo this time around. I think my set should be complete; for awhile at least. I still have the Health Pear juice that you guys sent with the first order. Thanks for that one! I'll do a complete review once I receive all the parts. Should be interesting to compare the Kr8 cartos and the eGo cartos.
