Yeah, you might have been able to chose a better kit with the benefit of research.
But, you didn't say what you bought! Sooo, what is it? :) Maybe you got lucky! I sure wish I'd done a little reading before I bought my first one. Truthfully, at the time of my first purchase, I had no idea how many options were available.

This is a great forum. Be advised, the sheer volume of information here can be a bit overwhelming. LOL

lol Yeah some people get lucky and others, lots who we DON'T hear from alas, buy something crap assume ALL ecigs are like that and go back to smoking.
If your PV works for you, even if its not a 'popular' model then good on ya. Anything that breaks your current habit (a bit or a lot) has gotta be a good deal right?
If you want to research check out the ECF Library Thread - its got a ton of info and lots of pics.

I got the firelight micro, 2 bat, 2 atomizer, 10 cartridge kit. and 50ml of their heavy juice. it was ~$80 ended up at the customer from hell's house today and had to fall back on the gold 72's (cause they are cheaper than lights)

anyway, my wife is scheduled for a C-section June 8, and I am 43, which means that i may need to convince an 18 year old that I can kick his ars when I am 61..

There is a learning curve. Ecigs don't smoke the same as regular cigarettes. I've found that it requires taking a much lighter and longer hit. What kind of problem are you having with it?

I think I got the heating coil wet... it does not make a lot of smoke every time. I am fairly afeared of burning out the atomizer, and equally afeared of shoring out the battery

By heating coil, you mean atomizer (I assume). While it needs to to stay 'wet' with juice to produce vapor, it can be flooded by too much juice. Try blowing it out, use a paper towel or similar to catch the liquid which will probably spray out. Then drip a few drops onto the bridge and see if it works.

You have a 556 in the 90000-96000 zip code? ;-)
no, I have several, A2, M4, varmint, and even a rare sevensixtwo variant... I collect those things

I think I found the problem, undercharging

my instructions say to charge for 5 hours the first few times and 3 hours after that, the fact that the indicator goes out after about an hour of charging and that the instructions were written in engrish I figured that it was done charging when the light went out WRONG, so they are sending me out a few replacement batteries, cause i probably broke the ones it came wit

so here is the zinger, after a day, I sort of dislike the taste of analogs, sure the E-cigs don't give the "hard drag rush" that the analogs do, but i am getting used to that and starting to prefer my E-cig

I used those smoketips for a few days, they make nice consistent vape. they are kinda freeky because every new cart has a new atty. I don't like that you get a hernia trying to pull on them.

I toasted one of attys on my firelites, now that I figured them out, I like it. nice even vape, get 3-5 vapes b4 it overheats, and as long as I always keep one battery on the charger, I am GTG

You mean cartomizers? I got a pack to try out on a 510 and there doesn't seem to be any significant break in period that I've noticed, but maybe that's model specific. Maybe they're under-filled?

as long as its still producing vapor your most likely didnt hurt it.. and yes its a lil differnt then smoking analogs. First take a couple small lil puffs just lil hits that produce a lil bit of vape your not inhaling.... after those first two little puffs and your seeing vapor.. take a big long slow drag..... and inhale.. if that didnt work.. do it again... all three steps lilpuff lilpuff long slow pull.. if you still think its not hitting right... lay it down.. come back in 15 minutes and do the lil puff puff and long pull again.. is there more vapor? If its still not working right take a newly charged battery and put your atomizer on it.. dont put more juice in if you know its full. Just lil puff puff long pull again on the newly charged battery. Still not happy then most likely you better go find someone who vapes. cause if your cartridge is full and your seeing vapor when you puff your most likely puffing wrong.

May over at (website will remain unamed) is pretty cool people, when I had a similar problem with my first kit, she happened to remind me of an old addage: when in doubt, RTFM...

The FireLight aint too bad as it was also my first PV, then the 510, now the eGo is my go to PV. Knowing then what I know now, I'd be up around $85... Oh well hindsight is 20/20 as they say, but my question is who are they???
