And I'm having lots and lots of trouble with it.

First off this stuff is a PITA to work with. But the complete opposite of nickle, it's tough and ridged. Not fragile.

Secondly, I'm still getting burnt hits at 200f. I watched the device monitor in Escribe and its struggling to hit 200, and when it does it's a burnt nasty hit. Forget getting anywhere near 400f. And for a moment last night, it kept kicking it out of TC mode.

For info: hcigar VT200, Magma rda, 24g NiFe52, 3mm ID, 6/7 wrap coil @ .36 ohms, wicked with rayon.

I uploaded the CSV off Steam Engine.

What am I doing wrong? Anyone else try this? And my Stainless Steel from Unkamen also didn't work that well either.

What you have there is not NiFe 52. Consensus is that it's some kind of magnetic SS
Check out the TC beyond Ni200 thread & skip to about page 120 several people received NiFe52 from Unkaman that is as you described.
There are only 2 known good sources for NiFe 52 as of now & both are on Steam Engine
In the US Reactor Wire
http://www.cottonman.com/reactorwire.html
The US version has the highest resistance of the various NiFe 52's

In Germany NiFe 48
http://www.zivipf.com/epages/638622...h=/Shops/63862298/Categories/Heizdraht/NiFe48

The German version is labeled NiFe48 for some reason, but the resistance is pretty close to NiFe 52
