well I'm dumb... I don't have any 306 drip tips and I'm at work. Only have 510 Drip tips. Do they make 306 drip tips that don't go over the atty?
Yes there are specific drip tips for these cartos. Lemme see if I can find them.

First impression.
Bottle squonk filled the carto, waited a few minutes, took a few non inhaled vapes to clear anything out,
first "real" vape,
"*cough*, *cough* ack, holy crap!", co-workers laughing at me...,
2nd vape
"*cough*, *cough*, sonofa...!" drinking some water to wet my throat,
I think I need to take the vapes a little easier than I did my Boge 510 LR 2ohm...

Wasn't sure at first so swapped back to the 510 carto again, yep, the 306 carto seems to have more flavor coming through, slightly warmer than the 510, vapor seems to be "thicker" than the 510 as well.
Now I wish I had ordered more of these instead of the 2 packs of 510s I ordered with them.
well went back to using the 510 id forgotten how much difference a drip tip makes.

I have some 306 LRs and the clear drip tip from Kalamazoo and I can't seem to make them work as well as the 510 LRs, the draw is a lot harder for me. I sure wanted to like them because they look so good on the REO mini.
I thought the draw was a little tighter but not by a large degree. I did notice it flooded a bit more though so blew out the excess and that cleared any draw issues for me, but with out drip tip i was eating a lot of juice.
I had a PM from Matt. He was going out for the evening, but said he would post his mod for a 306 carto drip tip later this evening.
If anyone has a rubber drip tip for a 510, they work on the 306 - actually a little better than on a 510 because it's a snug fit. RTDVapor sells them for $1.80 in 9 colors.
I have a rubber tip for one, but its one of those irritating round ones with the tiny mouth piece, I know its not meant to be a drip tip, the hole is tiny.

Just a LiL Tip for ya till you can land the right Drip Tips, long ago I came up with a Mod for a drip tip for a 306 because I was in the same Boat as you are. Take your stock plastic cover from a 306 Atty, cut it with a utility knife so it slips over your Atty and comes up to the top of the metal tube, then take a 510 Carto tube and cut the bottom off so you have just a blank hollow tube, now slide that tube over your 306 tube and just put a 510 Drip Tip on top. This will not only work for you but work like a dream ! just to reiterate, cut just a 1/2" piece of the stock 306 cart that came with your 306, cut the bottom out of a 510 Carto and gut it, now slide that 306 tube inside the 510 tube, then slide over your 306 Atty and put a 510 Drip Tip on top, Done Deal now you have a nice 306 Drip Tip. I will look and see if I have a pic to post for ya.

this is great for my atties! but the carto, hmm ill have to see if a 510 carto will slip over this carto.
