So i received it today and also got a new VIVI Nova.

new Vivi has a flush bottome where it screws in. My old Vivo has a small piece sticking out that almost seems spring loaded(to reach the contact i assume. Anyone I keep getting "LOW LOAD" errors on the screen and got "SHORT" once. If i keep tighting and untighting the tank i can get it to were it works perfectly. I also get strange OHM readings like .6, 1.0 and really low readings.

Do I need to perform the homedepot o-ring mod like described in the other post? "Load Load" wasnt really mentioned, so i dont know if this is different.

edit: Sorry I just found this post http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vamo/436818-v3-battery-gasket-failure.html
but the difference is my vamo v3 o-ring looks perfect. I cant see a problem with it?

How do you know it's perfect? Have you removed it to take a visual on it? I don't own a V3, so maybe they changed the gasket. If you can remove it and post a photo, that would help.

As far as I know in all ecig devices, a connector's rubber insulator is never just an o-ring... it also has an extended sleeve like shown in the photo. By the way, the furthest left gasket is a damaged Vamo V2 gasket... it should have a much longer sleeve.

Gaskets left to right...

Vamo V2 (damaged)
XL Cartomizer
Ego-510 adapter (these adapters have 2 gaskets... one looks like this, and the other like the carto gasket)
CE3 Clearomizer

i would guess the vivi isnt making good contact, do you have anything else you can try on the vamo first? i know sometimes the center pin on the vivis isnt out far enough to make good contact on mods with a more rigid pin.

only the two different style vivi's. one with the retractable "pin"

now the new style one hardly works at all
