Just got the iPV Mini and have a question

Does this mod have the usb passthru function? Meaning, can i use it while it's charging? The manual is pretty vague to begin with and makes no mention of it. This is my first VW device and i don"t want to fry the chip.

It does suppor USB pass through charging. The battery seems to charge faster when the device is powered off so that's what I do.

+1 to that! If it wasn't for this forum and resources like it i would be at the mercy of my local B&M's. I would've posted my question in the dedicated Mini thread but I didn't have enough posts

Idk about the IPV Mini cause I don't own it. However with the IPV2S and the IPV3, they have pass through ability, however in the instructions it states NOT to use it while it's charging.

I have used the passthrough to charge (and I've used it sparingly while charging). But, I prefer to charge those batteries via a regular external charger.
