IPV Mini is Auto Firing *HELP*

Hello all. I have an IPV Mini with a Nautilus Mini tank and it completely freaked out on me today. Driving to work and picked up my vape rig only to find out the atomizer/tank was VERY hot to the touch. Turns out, the thing auto fired for some reason. It cooked my coil. I got to work, took apart my tank, cleaned it all up and put a new coil in. Now, as soon as I start to thread the tank onto the IPV Mini, it begins to fire, without pushing the fire button.

Yes, I checked to make sure mobile mode was and is off.

The IPV Mini will usb charge as it should, it tuns on and off as it should, it just auto fires when on. If the button is pressed (with the tank on), it displays "check atomizer"

Any ideas?

Sorry that I can't help ya. I've been considering an iPV Mini 2 (70watts). Based on the reviews, it seems like a pretty good mod. Still on the fence right now, and the problem with your iPV mini doesn't help me towards purchasing one. I hope that you can figure/find out the issue and are able to fix it! Best of luck to ya!

This sucks! I took the side cover off, pulled out all of the guts and noticed they were a little sticky. It almost appears as if, over time, juice has seeped down into it. I wiped every component down with alcohol, reassembled it and BAM! It started working right again....I was happy with myself for about 20 minutes...at which point it started firing on it's own again. ARGH! Looks like it may be off to the vape store for a new mod.

This is a know problem juice getting on the board on more than oone mod have I heard of this in some cases causing mod to melt down got stop the juice from getting on the board and to help save your board/mod it must be cleaned now nauty mini I am pretty familiar with leaking juice they can and do flood the first thing to do is make sure your nautilus is not a clone verify it by checking the numbers on the box the tank came in trust me on this one I got stung by a nauty mini same with your atomizer mine flooded from day one only for me to find out over 2 month's later I had a clone good luck

Explanation melt down mostly on dripers first one istike 30 firing its self the annty so hot burnt the mans hand uscrewing it second one istick 50 Atlantis opened up the mod board burnt to a crisp make sure u do not leave your nautilus on your mod unintended till you get to the bottom of all this the mods I have seen and heard of fired way pass 15 seconds when the juice shortening the board the safetys seem to not work and the geeks I talk to are unsure if its a shprt or juice eating board components making the device fire till somting fails board coil battery
