So when I started vaping I knew it was different then an analog. I had to take a slow draw and it didn't matter how hard I sucked I wouldn't get more vapor from it, but I held fast to old techniques. I would hold the button for a sec, put my mouth to it and then suck until I thought it was enough, let go of the button, inhale, exhale.

This was hit and miss. Especially when I changed juices. Sometimes I would get a great cloud of vapor, sometimes nothing. (eGo C vivi nova 2.4 ohms)

Then I watched this video tonight.

A PBusardo Tutorial - Vivi Nova Cleaning & Rebuilding - YouTube

I watched how he was vaping and realized small short puffs combined can give me the puff I've been looking for consistently since I started vaping and I am noticing more nuances and flavors that I didn't get when I was doing the shallow hits before.

It's like a whole new world suddenly. It's one thing to have technique explained but it's another to see it. I don't exhale between puffs like he does, but I am finding all my vape hits to be more fulfilling now. Definitely something I wish I would have understood better 3 weeks ago.

His technique is not unlike how some pipe smokers smoke. Sort of a short sucking into the mouth and blow it out (as if he is priming the device), and occasionally blowing vapor out of his nose, too.

In fact, the exhaling of vapor through the nose can really add to your experiencing the flavors of you vapor, as the sense of smell is strongly connected to our sense of taste.

Glad you've found a breakthough in your vaping experience.

I've been exhaling partway through my nose and mouth since I started vaping as well as rolling my tongue a bit in my mouth. I just found that I was getting inconsistent vapor hits and now that I have have started slowing down and double puffing or triple puffing I found I am getting the desired result, rather then 1 solid puff that could be full of vapor or have none at all.
