Still trying to figure out the "draw" as some pulls have been filled with smoke and others are "weak".

Using the Marlboro Cart that came w/ it and dripped a drop or two of Eco Pure English Toffee on my atty.

Still learning, but I think I like it....:D

Hopefully once I get it "dialed" in I can kick the analogs to the curb!

Yeah, I think I am learning...here is what I have been doing.

Let atomizer heat up 2-3 secs w/ no draw. Start drawing slowly and easily for around 2 secs. Then I up the draw strength and seem to get more vapor.......does that sound correct?

Man that Eco Pure Toffee tastes awesome, I am still tasting it after 10 draws with only dripping 2 drops on the atty. The cart is the std. Marlboro High from Cignot currently.

I also have a bottle of Camel, RY4, and a sample bottle thrown in of "Jimmy Puffit' VG juice.

Ahh....funny I saw your post sign man, just as I was ready to post that I switched batteries and the draw seems more consistent.

Have the other battery on the AC Charger now and got my PCC chargin up!

I have had one smoke now, since I have been vaping this evening (2 hrs) AND I am drinking beer too (that's impressive for me as I usually "freight train" analogs when drinking.)

I know its new and a novelty at this point, but I can see how so many have quit using the e-cig. I hope I join the fold too.

i just got my 510 today. got the manual and auto batt. like the manual better already and the pcc is nice. still not getting consistent vapes though.

Do you have 2 batteries? Maybe try a different battery, as this 2nd battery seems to be working better- in my case.

My wife charged them while I was at work, but possibly they DO need to remain on the charger for 4 hrs at initial use as mentioned in the Joye 510 "Tips" post on the Joye 510 forum.

I would try another battery, and possibly the atomizers need to be "broken in" for a bit, as mine seems to be more consistent now after 20 vapes or so.

After two months, I'm still not getting very good consistency. I'm going to move from my 510 to a VaporKing. KR-8xxxx. If that doesn't work, I'll probably try a HV devise.

When you say you're not getting consistency with a 510 I have to think that means that you are puffing faster than the wicking material can wick up more juice. So that means you either need to slow down, start looking into cartridge modifications to use different filler materials, or get a KR808D-1 model as you already said.

The only issue I've found with the 510 is drawing on it too fast and/or too often enough, such that it doesn't wick the juice up fast enough for consistently good drags without a decent rest period.

Just my three cents worth...

which cart mod did you use Grateful D? I saw the blue foam mod, and that looks interesting and makes sense as the material is not as dense as the supplied "poly fill" that came with it.

The blue foam looks like it would wick much better...but yes (as I found out tonight) the batteries DO make a difference.

I have only had a few analogs this evening, which is a nice change of pace...haven't slowed down on the beer though ;)

I see no need to slow down on the beer tho. To many changes at once can be bad. At least thats what I tell myself.

I have told myself and my wife the same thing!

I just tried dripping a couple drops of "Camel" 26mg Juice (VG--into the cart, not right on the atty) and I smoke Camel Lights...ugh.

Pretty Harsh, I think I am liking the flavored liquids a bit better.

I have been mixing on the same atty and cart all night, so I am not getting straight flavor, but I was surprised that the Camel did not suit me like I thought it would.

I dripped a drop of RY4 on my atty too which had a nice flavor. Once I clear out the original Marlboro Carts and get some filler I can try these flavors out on their own.

I guess I will need some new atty's too, or is it acceptable to re-use attys for different flavors as long as you clean them out first?

Time to hit the 510....

I've used the same atty's with different flavors without even washing them out. Sometimes you can get some good combinations that way. I tried menthol and didn't like it but after running some marlboro thru it I found a hint of menthol can be good from time to time. Every now and then I'll drip a couple drops of marlboro and a drop of menthol.

I don't really drip with my 3.7 volt stuff. I always flooded them when I did. I just use the cart mods. I drip on my high volt devices and I drip directly in the atty. If I were to drip in the 510 I would drip into the cart then put it on the atty. I would say you should experiment. Try one or two right on the atty and see. If you flood the atty just take it off and blow it out. you'll be good as new.
