Well I just had a ventral hernia repair done on my abdomen and had a 3 day visit at the hospital. What I wanted to share was how awesome and receptive my hospital was to my vaping! I had a semi private room was shared with a woman with cancer
At first I thought I would stealth vape the second day when I wasn't so out of it. So took a few puffs felt so good and satisfied. No comments no one saw. Heard one nurse say to another when she was leaving my room how it always smells so nice in my room. LOL so anyway had a chat with my roomie and showed her what it was. She was fascinated and being a senior had no idea about them and wished she had them when she was smoking. So anyway long story short I had my volt charging next to my laptop and the nurse asked me if that was some sort of USB flash drive. I said no actually it's a personal vapourizer
she said oh I read about those devices are they good? I told her I was a pack a day smoker and since the day I got my liquid I have not picked up one single analog cigarette. She was impressed brought the rest of the staff. Told them it does have nicotine in it and they asked me to show them how it's used. I said well as long as I get a shot of morphine for the pain I'll show you everything you need to know! LOL so after my shot... I went into the anatomy of my KR808D-1 and the differences and how to fill the cartomizers etc. I took a few pufffs and they all sniffed the air. They were amazed. They said wow it's like you literally moisturized the air! I said yes! So they all left talking away and said you go ahead and enjoy yourself and congratulations on quitting smoking. Then the rest of the day I had a few nurses asking for places to go online to get a kit for themselves and their spouses. I felt so good about all of that and now that I am home I wanted to share. I think it's all about the approach and how receptive they are but I for one had a wonderful reception at Grace Hospital in Windsor, Ontario. Thought I would share it with all of my new friends here in ECF.
