Ever since i got my REO I have been using dual micros around .26-.28. While I got great flavor and vapor the maintenance was a little to much and I always would fry my firing pin when on the road.

So I decided to try some of those crazy builds to get the same results at a higer impeadence and this was my first. Comes in at .44 and it performs really well. Anyway had to show it off

Yes its a derringer 32awg over 24awg. Six wrap on my smallest drill bit. Thanks for the compliments. Really liking it.

Cool. Very tidy work :thumb:

Actually it really was not that hard to do. I guess if u don't have a drill it would be a major pain in the ....

I straightened my 24, ran the 32 through a bic pen, started the wrap by hand, chucked it in the drill and it pretty much wrapped its self. (Not taking credit for this technique saw it on YouTube).

Heat up time is definitely longer. But its just as hot, more flavor and seems more vapor than my duals. Could be the placebo effect gonna rock it for a while.

Nice work. I've been wanting to try it out since i saw some vids on youtube. I haven't yet because I am very hard on myself for failure. I did recently pickup 100' of 24 gauge and I've got a ton of 32 gauge I bought when I was rebuilding protanks that has been collecting dust for quite a while now. Time to get on it.... Thanks for the motivation.
