Congrats @TX Foilhead!

You will be spoiled if you decide to rock the rxw! Minimal maintenance is great. It may take a few tries to get used to building for the nuppin. Take what the others said into consideration.

Most importantly, dont rip out your rxw too early, it will get better after the first dry burn. Usually I do that after each reo-bottle, depending on the juice. After that, you're golden!

Welcome! :)

OK 2 days since I got both REO's running, the RxW is amazing, it just gets better the more I use it. I really want to build dual coil with the 3mm, but I don't want to wait for new wick to break in enough to get where I am with the first build. I guess that's not that bad of an issue and could always buy another REO to fix it.

For anyone wondering about how tuff these things are I decided to polish tumbled REO on my big 8in polisher. Everything was looking good until until I decide that one more pass might just be enough to start getting a reflection. Little more pressure and BANG, it jumped out of my hands and was slammed onto the con terms floor:shock:. Picked it up, no new scratches, didn't even break the drip tip so I put put the battery back in it vaped like nothing ever happened :thumb:

Glad you stayed patient with the RxW! I was ready to chime in and echo Jan's comment about break in period. It really starts performing after a couple of bottles run thru it! Problem is once you have it dialed in you won't want to change it and that one wick will last months!! In addition as FB noted coil position on the Nuppin is critical. I'm sure you have probably read thru the ReadyX wick threads, if not it's worth a scan. Good luck and enjoy. Going to have to find something else to "fiddle" with now, between a REO and a Nuppin and Rxw your quest for the best goal has been reached!! :)

Glad to see you here, bud!

We need to get together for the 1st Central Texas Reo Vape meet!

Absolutely, let me know if you hear anything going on. I never see any vapers out here in BFE and I'm not seeing any reason I'll need to see the inside of a B&M again this year.

Ended up trying the single parallel coil in the center of the Nuppin, shooting for .5 ohms but it came in at .75. Not sure what happened there, but it's already got flavor as good as anything I've tried so far so I have high hopes for what it should be doing this weekend when the RxW gets to working.

You can see now why so many of us have more than one REO and a whole slew of attys......just to have something to do. REOs take all the fiddling out of vaping so we have to invent things to do with our hands. Have to fill the time suck gap somehow.
