Just how exactly do the OCC and Atlantis coils not flood

I don't understand the science behind this the 4 huge holes are constantly submerged in eliquid how do they not flood?

Some of it is the negative pressure inside the tank and the density of the wick material, there are many factors in play.

Fact is they will flood, eventually. Presure tanks. The will leak do to being dirty, to bad orings , from barametric pressure changes and altitude changes and even to temperature changes. Don't forget that EVERYTHING in the solar system is affected by GRAVITY. Eveything that is UP will move down.
