Here is a good one, see if you can answer correctly.

There is a room with no windows and only one door. There are three lights in the room and there are three switches to operate them located outside and on the opposite side of the room from the door.

You have to figure out what switch operates each light but you can only enter the room one time!

How do you figure it out?

wouldn't you just leave the door open if the are located opposite of the door???

Or if you are trying to be a little bit more logical turn on one of the switches on the outside (left or right one) and unless your electrician is just totally messed up it will turn on one of the lights on the side of the room and the middle switch should turn on the middle light and the switch you did not turn on should be the other outside (left or right) light....

So how dumb am I?

DNCMenteer wins the prize. Took me awhile to figure that one out. Never thought about Google. Good job.

Here is another for you.

There are three boxes on the table. Each box has a hand sized hole in the top. One box holds only apples. The second holds only oranges. The third holds both apples and oranges. Each box has a stick on sign in the front labeling the boxes "Apples" - "Oranges" and "Apples and Oranges".

ALL the signs are wrong. You get to reach into ONE and ONLY one box, pick out the FIRST fruit you touch. Can you relabel each of the boxes correctly?

I would look into each box thru the hole and change the signs. Then for my one pick, I would pick out my favorite and eat it.

I think I figured it out.

1. Reach into the box with the sign "Apples and Oranges"
2. If you pull out an Apple, replace the sign on the box with "Apples" and swap the signs on the other two boxes. If you pull out an Orange, replace the sign with "Oranges" and swap the other two signs.

This only works because we know that ALL the signs are wrong.

BTW, I did NOT google this I promise!
