Just wanting to introduce myself as I just got my first PV today and I've got to say, it's freakin' awesome!
Firstly, my name is Chris, I'm 21 years' old and am currently living in Wellington, New Zealand. I work as a civil servant and am renting a house with my girlfriend, Rachel, and cat, Zephilena.
So how did I get into vaping? Well I was on Facebook one day and saw an ad for PV's through a New Zealand company. Now, I've been wanting to quit smoking for some time now...the smell and the crappy feeling in the morning was getting old. The problem was, I didn't really want to quit as I found I actually quite liked smoking...having time out and it seems like a great way to meet new and interesting people.
After seeing the ad on Facebook, I decided to a bit of investigating. I knew that buying from a New Zealand supplier would mean spending more than if I ordered from overseas. So after a couple hours of visiting various websites, and going through the painful process of finding a site that DOES actually ship to New Zealand, and isn't painfully expensive, I ordered a KR808D-1 from minicigarette.net.
So after 7 days' of waiting, my first PV is finally here!
I have to say, using a PV feels a lot different physically to an analogue but it gives the same satisfaction psychologically as smoking one! I'ts been 4 hours since my batteries have finished charging and I haven't even thought of going outside for an analogue (I'm about a pack a day smoker).
I haven't actually seen ANYONE in New Zealand using a PV, and after a quick search I can see there are a couple other forums users from here. Hopefully that will change soon! Over here it costs $12.80NZD, which is about $8.80USD for Pall Mall 26s, which is about the cost of a pack of 5 new cartomizers!!
