Howdy, I have been lurking here for a few weeks and finally joined. I have been vaping for about two months now and been analog free for that long too.

I started with an Ego-T with a mini protank clone and then switched to a Vision Spinner and then went to full size protanks.

A few weeks ago I switched to a mech and a week and a half ago, I got started on RDA's. My current setup is a Kamry K101 with a smok SCAR running a 28 gauge coil running at .9 Ohms using a Sony VTC4. I also have a Chitriot that I use when I want to cloud chase that one runs at .4. I have done a lot of research on vaping sub-ohm and really enjoy it (as long as I stay safe). Additionally, I am mechanically inclined and love tinkering.

Hi pyro and welcome to ECF. There are a number of us who lurked before joining, so you are in good company. Sounds like you have gear that is working for you, especially since you are a tinkerer (which I am not). This is a great community to participate in. Lots of friendly, supportive and knowledgeable folks who really help those of us who are relatively new.

What sort of flavors have you enjoyed the most? I have an ADV that is a menthol blend, but at night I rotate between watermelon (which I'm vaping as I type), mango, kiwi, chocolate chip ice cream and peach. Still haven't filled a clearo with Raspberry that I bought yesterday from a local B&M in Denver called Vapor Leaf.

Thanks for sharing your experience and I hope you find ECF to be a fun place to hang out.

Keep the vape and namaste.

Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on your move to a healthy living!

A mech mod is up next on my buying list. How did the switch from spinners to mechs work out for you? How are the VTC4's, it's the one battery I'm considering buying for my first mech…?

It worked out great. I am really rough on my stuff and I like the sold feel of the mech. I did miss the adjust-ability of the Spinner. But, I have a sigelei kick that I uses sometimes with my Protanks

I like the VTC4. It lasts me about a day and a half with chain vaping in the evening and for 30 mins on my lunch break.

Thanks, I enjoy Hawk Sauce, Faux Hawk and Thug Juice from MBV. My local B&M has a great Green Apple and a excellent Blue Rasberry I like.

I see a few of you are in Denver, I grew up in Golden for my first 10 years then lived in Loveland after that. My family is still in Loveland as well.

I, too, am a former lurker!! I've been able to quit analogs for a year or more in the past without e-cigs, but the thing is, I LOVE to smoke! Or, I did, until I realized how much better e-juice tastes and how awesome it is not to smell like ... all the time. ;)

Pyro, you must've lurked longer than I, because all the lingo in your post is like trying to read Farsi or something to me! Haha, I'm sure I'll learn. Anyway, welcome from a fellow newcomer!

The smell is awesome. I was thinking about trying vaping last year and then my fiance and I had a heart to heart about my smoking and so I made the switch. She loves the smell of it and will occasionally take a puff of my 0mg juice I have around for the clouds (shes never smoked).

Oh, and Sthur, ccubed, I'm in Denver, too. What B&Ms do you go to/recommend? I just posted a new thread about Colorado E-Smokes, and I'd love your input! (Not sure how to link to that thread yet, so please forgive my naivete.)

Hi eryenne and welcome to ECF. The only local B&M (Brick and Mortar) I've been to is Vapor Leaf on West Colfax. I should check out some of the other stores in town. Buying locally is a preference for me, but I also order on-line for some gear and juice. I'll try to find your thread on Colorado E-Smokes.

And don't worry about the "lingo". If you hang around here, you will pick it up and be speaking vaporese in no time at all. I lurked here for about 3 weeks before joining and felt like people were talking a foreign language, but also felt the folks here were positive, supportive, knowledgeable and passionate about vaping. Joined because I wanted to be a part of this community and I figure we are all in this vaping thing together.

Keep the vape and namaste.

Thanks, ccubed! I've heard of Vapor Leaf but never ventured out that way (I'm in SE Denver). It's awesome to have a welcome within, like, 30 seconds of saying hello!

Pyro, my bf likes the smell of vapor, too. Hates smokers. He even has a T-shirt with the no-smoking symbol that says "There are cooler ways to kill yourself." Suffice it to say this is a much more harmonious household these days!! :)
