I have a Baby Beast and Big Baby. It seems to be generally accepted that it is better not to use smok coils at the upper wattage levels of their "Best" range. Also, try using them at levels below their "Best" range.
For example, I use the Q2 0.6 ohm coil at 32 W with a fruity mix, or 25-29 W with a desert mix. smok say that coil is best used at 30-40 W. This coil is the one in the smok lineup which allows the lowest wattage with the Baby Beast and Big Baby, and the coolest vape in my experience.
The V8 Baby- X4 Core 0.15 ohm quadruple coils could be an alternative for you. Smok say Best 45-60W, but one member here never uses it above 35 W.
