Just met a vaper in the wild... 5 minutes later I wanted to punch him in the throat.

So I was walking out of Chipotle on my way to work and pulled out my IPV4 to take a hit from it. noticed a couple guys vaping evo type devices and gave them a nod. One of them asked me what Mod I was using so I stopped to chat for a minute. He asked if he could look at it so I handed it to him. when he saw the resistance that it was set at he kinda flipped out on me. he was all "man, there is no reason to be running that low! that's dangerous! Your gonna blow yourself up man!" I then explained that it was a temp control setup and that is why it is at .07ohm... He told me I was stupid for running that low and how his vision spinner with a nautilus mini was so much better and safer than mine was. I said what ever and took my device back from him. His friend stepped up then and asked me about the temp control and how the coils were so different from a normal Kanthal build. He asked if he could look at the coils and I said ok. so he popped the top off and then freaking pinched the coils against the center posts! destroying my build! His buddy kept saying things like "Clouds Brah! Blow me some CLOUDS! Brah come on and blow some clouds!" I was so .......

They both were laughing and followed me down the sidewalk shouting for me to blow clouds for them with my piece of garbage mod. Just as I went in the door where I work one of them told me if I was a tootle puffer I wouldn't have that problem with my coils.

So I ask, which two of you guys was this?

and to think, my backup device in my bag was a vision spinner with a nautilus mini tank on it...

These kind of people aren't doing the vape community any good, not that they likely care. Making fun of another vaper's set up is high school stuff. There's no right or best way to vape. As long as you're not buying cigs, it's all good.

What's odd is they seem to know enough lingo generated by this forum (or wherever the silly labels like tootle puffer came from) but not enough about actual vaping if they couldn't understand temp control. Sucks they ruined your coils but be thankful you have more knowledge then those rude people lol and can just build another one

If some stranger asked if he could see my mod, I'd hold it up and say "see?" But they would not touch it. I do not want other people's germs touching my mod -- hands are the biggest spreader of all germs. I don't shake hands with strangers either, for the same reason.

And as much as I believe in karma, and that the doofus who destroyed your coil will get his... I'm sure I'd have slapped him for doing that.

Wow! Of all the scumbags I've run into over vaping that takes the cake.
