It is the amount of Pg and Vg in a juice. This is individual preference. I like 80%PG/20%VG. As a rule of thumb more PG = stronger throat hit (TH) and more VG = bigger vapor. In the end it is what works best for you that will determine what PG/VG ratio you like.

BTW welcome to ECF and good luck with the new kit

pg is on the thinner side, less vapor, more throat hit but lots of flavor
vg is on the thicker side, more vapor, less throat hit a little less flavor.

A ratio recommended by some juice suppliers is 70pg/30vg or 80pg/20vg. That's not too thick, not too thin so it doesn't clog cartomizers. But it really is very subjective. That's why it's good to order small sample size bottles in varying nicotine strengths and ratios.

PG = propylene glycol. used to carry flavor and gives throat hit (tasteless)
VG = Vegetable glycerin. used to create vapor (slight sweet taste)
Nicotine = poison that gives u the addiction u need and throat hit.

i'm on green apple menthol flavor 18mg nic strength and 50%pg/50%vg.

I'm a slightly less tolerant to the throat hit the pg gives when i tried a 12mg 70/30. thats when i slowly drop the ratio and found 50/50 my fav at 18mg. smooth, lots of vapor and still gives me the throat hit~ but of cuz, mine is a fruity flavor which is one reason i prefer vg cuz of the sweetness.
