Meh Efest batteries are fine. I have a bunch and even use them in my mechanical mods with N/P. With all the safety features already programmed into the Provari, there is no reason to doubt that the OP will be fine if they got Efest batteries.

Understanding VV is not necessarily required to actually use VV. It can be mostly a taste thing and you will get used to it. Another thing that I have seen flying around the forum is the 2 rule. While it is not completely set in stone. Basically, most clearomizers seem to perform best around voltage that is two more than the ohms. Say you have a 2 ohm clearomizer, 4 volts is a good place to start out.

Interesting. I've been digging 2.5 Ohms at 4.4 volts. You're suggesting that I try 5.0? 4.8 would give me a burnt taste with a Twist; would it be any different with a Provari? I guess I can try...right now. LOL

No Sed, the +2 just means that you add 2 to your resistance, for your 2.5ohm you'd +2 to get 4.5 volts.
It's just a rough suggestion of a starting point. I found depending on the topper +2 can be too much or not enough.

I usually just started 1 volt above the resistance and jumped it up till I was satisfied.
