Also, not sure if you are aware or not but you have to build the coil for your rm2 once you get it so make sure you have some Kanthal and cotton balls. (Personally I prefer the cotton as it provides a wonderful flavor). There are lots of videos on how to build one if you haven't done so yet. They're easy to do and only take a couple of minutes.

And a multimeter if you don't have a regulated PV that lists the ohms of the coil.

Congrats on quitting smoking. Although I have only used Genesis attys since I have been vaping (a few years), I've been looking with great interest at the REO with rba. It looks pretty neat, and the ability to pump the liquid seems really smart.

Only thing im a little concerned about it leakage, but I was thinking about ordering a leather belt pouch or something to keep her upright most of the time

I haven't had mine leak on me yet. You'll probably be fine without a pouch.

Be sure to head on over to the Reo Forums and introduce yourself or post any questions you might have. The Reonauts are a very friendly bunch.

When I first received my Reo, I absolutely hated it, but I decided to give it a week. Two months later, I now own 6 Reo's and getting ready to order another one.
A couple of mine leaked a little around the cup, but the O-ring that comes with the RM2 quickly fixed that. The only other time I have a leak problem is when I over "squonk".

Congrats on your REO choice but even more about quitting smoking!! Im always impressed when someone new dives right in feet first into vaping and bypasses the beginners kits and takes a leap of faith with a hi-end PV no matter what brand. It takes guts to shell out big bucks on something new not knowing if vaping is for them........KUDOS!!!!!!!!!!!

look forward to getting her....
I have some 28 gauge kanthal & plan on wiring up a micro coil with a 20 gauge leur loc needle and cotton is on hand ready to go!
I have a sigelei zmax v5 im using now that I could prob use to check resistance with

Only thing im a little concerned about leakage, but I was thinking about ordering a leather belt pouch or something to keep her upright most of the time

Welcome to ECF, and congratulations on quitting cigarettes.

It sounds like you really did your homework! You just saved yourself a lot of money going straight to a REO. The Zmax will be able to check your resistance. I also use a tube mod to coil mine on, something like a handle with a built in ohm meter. When I dry fire my coils I use the tube also, then use it to rinse out the RM2. It's the only use it gets these days ;)

My REO doesn't leak, I use the RM2 with the o-ring and can just toss it in my purse without a worry. Well, once it did but that was entirely my fault I over squonked it a LOT while distracted. Only a little juice came out and was easily wiped up. It won't just leak on it's own if it isn't upright, I often keep mine sitting on it's side.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to visit us in the REO forum, or just come have a few laughs in the lounge: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/411261-reo-lounge-part-iii.html

For the folks in the audience just tuning in, I take the view that comparisons with other mods are reasonable and fair. I don't have one of everything else and 4 Reos because I feel some altruism towards Rob, but because, very simply, having tried most of everything else - they are the best I have ever come across.

Same with Provari for which I had amounted 3 by the time I discovered the wonderful world of bottom juice feeding box mods.

It's my opinion that people really ought to try a lot of different things and waste as much money and time as I have, because then their appreciation of the simple benefits and maintenance of a Reo is striking.

Reos Mods <---- this is where you want to be like caridwen suggested earlier.

I was a 2-3 pad for 20 something odd years. I celebrated my 1-year smokefree anniv last month but I did not make a fuss over it because I only dicovered a solution I could happily live with, in March, which was when I bought a brand spankin' new VVG. That's when I truely felt happy because I finally found a solution I could live with.

As you know, with the exception of my one Reo Grand all of my other mods are VV so maybe I'm biased and if I am I don't want to unfairly mislead you. When it comes to other Bottom Feeders I see no reason to order a DNA, (even if he has a DNA20), since the VV mods are actually capable of higher wattage... up to 25 watts, so I don't really see the advantage of the DNA.

Stick a carto, atty, RBA, what ever on the mod at what ever ohm, set the voltage to the taste you like and get on with your day. Like a cool vape, turn down the voltage. Like a hot vape, turn it up, like it really hot, turn it way up... 25 watts will blow your head off. You have to make the decision what's more important to you... all I can tell you is don't buy a mod just for the sake of getting one right away, just wait for one that going to meet your wants and needs.

Congrats on getting a REO Grand! I was just like you, I bought an eGo kit to see if vaping is something I could get into. It worked sure enough!! I eyeballed the REO amongst all the other mods out there and it seemed to be the best fit for me.
A little over 5 months after getting the eGo and sticking with it, my REO Mini 2.1 arrived (just this past Monday to be exact!) I found it to be everything I needed thus far.....HOWEVER.....it would behoove you to study up on it and the learning curve that comes along with the REO.....mainly the squonking part. All in all I'm very happy with it and I think it'll fit me just fine!
