I would suggest new batteries, I don't trust any battery/charge with fire in the name. I solely use the sony vtc3 or vtc4, aw imr 1600 mah's or efest 1600mah for the high amp load capabilities.

for chargers the xstar, luc, and nitecore are really good

gauge of wire will depend on your resistance, I would start at 32 gauge since it sound's like this is your first step into rebuilding. It will take less space to make a coil above 1ohm which is a good starting point. The Igo-w3 doesn't offer a whole lot of space for building with gauges like 28 where you would need more wire to get the same resistance. Once you get more comfortable then you can play other gauges and lower ohm's.

for wick you can use cotton, silica, ekowool, peaches and cream yarn. I have tried them all and personally like the cotton balls.

also if you don't have handy you will want a mutli-meter or ohm meter for checking your resistance. and make sure you your coils only touch the post from the legs, the rest shouldn't touch anything metal.

This is extremely important advice for this particular rda. It's one tuff customer. May the force be with you!

DEFINITELY get new batteries.

If you're even considering subohming then you may as well jump right into a set of either Orbtronic SX30 or Sony VCT5 batteries. Both are high drain 30amp batteries, the SX30s are 2100mAh and the VCT5s are 2600mAh.

Personally I won't use anything other than IMR and hybrid batteries. They are much safer than the older Li-ion batteries.

I started building drippers on an igo-L. Alot simpler than the w-3. I will be getting an igo-w,they are very simple as well. Im glad I started on the basic dripper,I can plan on a certain build and get it;if im aiming for 1.4 its x many wraps with x drill bit, or if im goin for 1.0 its y many wraps on y drill bit. Plus I write them down to keep track, and since im a weirdo and build, vape, tear it down and build it again, I get alot of practice lol. Eventually I'll get the w-3 and try some quad action, but as for now, dual and single are cloudin the room lol. Have fun be safe!
