I need to know if the following set up will be safe for sub-ohm vaping

Locking rings only work if you want to lock them every time you set it down. That isn't ideal. Nobody wants to lock the ring every single time they set down their mod for 2 seconds.

I'm actually kind of OCD with my magneto (I have no idea why, I just am). Even if I'm putting it down for all of two seconds it's almost an instinct for me to lock the button

Go with the Sony Vc5's, i got the v4's and they have saved me already.
