I was anxious to get started so I purchased it at 1 am in the morning, i'm really excited. It looks like a very nice quality product. I've got a question though, do the VK batts have markings all over them with the logo like the pictures in the replacement batteries section of the site? It's alright looking, but a tad in your face for my taste. Are we able to use batteries from different places for the VK Ultimate Ultimatum kit ? If so which are the best?

This being my first e cig and all I just want to make sure that i've made the right decision. Any tips on vaping with a new cartomizer? Is there something I should do the first time to 'baptize' it? lol

Steve seems like a very snappy guy, customer service is great, I chatted with him yesterday afternoon and he seems like a stand up guy. I'll post back once my product has arrived! =)

I look forward to posting on the forums more, and this thread as well.

Gratz RK21!!! From what I have read about the batteries, these are not the standard batties and have been improved for life and additional holes added, so it would be a downgrade to go with the standard batteries.

Think I got that correct, but sorry if I didn't or missed anything. :)

Ahh ok, yeah I just wasn't sure about the batts. I'm totally stoked now :w00t: The whole kit was just such a good value I couldn't pass it up, and after reading this thread there are soo many people happy with their product it puts me at ease knowing that they had good experiences.

Really no tips needed on vaping with a new cart. Just take one out of the box, take off the end caps, pull out the little rubber post on battery connection end, twist it on the battery and take lowwww and slowwww puff and you have reached nirvana vaping heaven my man. The great thing about the Vapor King Kit, is that the batteries come partially charged (but recommend charging them for a few hours though), so you can start vaping immediately right out of the box. But, I recommend put them on the charger right away and use the USB Passthru, it is so frickin great. And yes, as you have already noticed, Steve is a very stand up guy. Steve is on a mission and that mission is to help us in any way he can to quit those nasty analogs. You have already taken the biggest step of all, by ordering the Vapor King. Once you receive the VK, the other steps are very simple - twist on a cart and start vaping. I havent smoked an analog since the minute I started with the VK. Not only Steve and his crew, but all of us here at ECF are here to assist with any of your questions, problems or concerns with your choice of trying to quit smoking. Welcome to our world and enjoy your vaping experience with the Vapor King. You have already made the most difficult decision in this process, it only gets easier from here on in:thumbs:

pass through is awesome as is the charging case. The usb cord for the case is very short about 4 inches which is a drawback for some but i have a little shelf above my usb's as you can sort of see.

I dont do the initial 8 hour charge because they are lithium batteries. They really dont need to be supercharged b/c once there charged thats really all your going to get. But what I do is 4 hours , 1st charge right out of the package. After that till light turns blue. I even did an 8 hour charge with one of the batteries and did not notice any decline in battery life or quality in vapor.

Also remember to use slow smooth draws. Dont suck on it like a cigarette. Slow and smooth. If that light is on the cartomizers will be active. Usually your first draw will be very light vapor for every new cartomizer. Once there warmed up a little you will enjoy.

Vape on and enjoy the VK...Smilin will keep you smiling. :)

My favorite thing so far is that it really does make you want to give up analogs. I still have that analog itch once and a while. After the VK when I go for an analog I cant finish more than half because of how nasty it tastes. Was a 1-2 pack a day smoker, I am using the 11mg carts, I think the 16mg ones will do the trick for me. But yes best thing is the taste. It really allows you sense how bad tasting and stinky analogs are. My advice is to get different strengths and see how you fare. I got a bunch of 11mg thinking it would do the job but I found out I need a little bit more. A bit of trial and error at first and then its all about trying the flavors. I'm still a noobie though only had my VK for 4 days.
