Ive been vaping for a while just switched over from the logic Ble type e-cigs and have been hapily using a Kangar EVOD bottom coil with my non-vv standard ego battery i tried a friends igo-w and ordered the F because of the tank option

I have no way of testing resistance or adjusting voltage so i need to ask:

Is an ohm meter enough?

I checked out the ego v3 mega vv/vw and it tests resistance and i can get it for about 24 bucks from fasttech but would that be enough? Do i need a mod? Is there an even more inexpensive option to the ego v3 mega?

I need help but for the record i learned abt safety how to test for a short and fully understand how voltage and resistance work together but dont know abt wires gages or suppliers of wire
Ill be boiling cottonballs for a wick but am unsure how to prepare the individual pieces of cotton in the coil. Sorry for the runon sentances and multiple questions, just feeling a little in too deep xp

Igo-F on a standard ego ROCKs. ~1.8Ω (Don't tuck wicks, position coil at the outer edge of the device in line with the air hole.)
If you are starting from scratch, a DMM ( as above),a few meters of 32AWG and 30AWG kanthal wire, a jewellers screwdriver set, and a bag of organic cotton and toenail clippers from the Wall will get you moving.

Have fun
Be safe

An ohms meter would be fine as well as knowledge of how low of resistance you can build. I personally would stay above 1.5-1.8 ohms on an ego battery. You can also order a Sony vtc4 and a cheap mech mod and end up spending right around $20+shipping and then you don't have to really worry about it.

Well ive been lookin at the ego v3 mega cuz i cnt find a DMM for less than 15 bucks anyway so if thats the case the extra 10 bucks to switch from 650 mah(or w.e) standard voltage to a 1300 vv that can test my resistance without switching pieces im all about that, mods are a little bulky for my taste anyway xp and i like the usb charger/passthrough for my batteries i usually vape too much to wait on a charge xp but as far as coil where would i get it? And would organic cotton still hafto be boiled?

But thank u all so much feeling much more capable to handle this xp
