When you make your own, one purchases nicotine base, generally 100 mg, PG, VG, and flavor extracts, then with the use of a juice calculator, like ejuice me up, puts in the strength of the nic base, target nic level of the juice being made, VG & PG %'s desired, flavor %'s for recipe, and the batch size being made, click the button and it tells you how much of each ingredient one needs, put it all into a glass flask and stir it up.

Then whenever I need to make a new batch, I'll put those numbers into the calculator, and enter how much I want to make, and click calculate, then it's off to the lab I go, and after a few minutes of measuring and stirring, I have my favorite ADV, and I am good for a month or so.
