I am still a greenhorn when it comes to vaping but it didn't take me long to already want a variable voltage mod so I could control the hit. After doing a lot of research over the last week I decided on the Provari. I would love to get a black chrome with the blue led option but will order that for a backup once they have them. Basically I am impatient LOL.

I ordered the satin with two 18490 batteries and the Pila charger. I am not a very heavy vapor, at least I don't think so especially when I see people mentioning they go through 5+ mil a day. I might use about 2 mil a day so I wanted to see how the 18490 batteries would perform for me because I would prefer to keep the pv on the smaller side. I will more then likely get the extension cap and 2500mah battery when I order the backup Provari in a few weeks.

I also wanted to say thanks to the Provape guys for their quick responses to my emails.

I don't think I will only be using it at home. I have an office at work so I will definitely be using it at work as well :D

Just have to see how the batteries do for me. The ego t 1000mah passthroughs will last me a whole day and I think I will be in the 4.2 - 4.6 volt range with the provari and a sr 510. I am going to keep the egos and lr 510's for backups or if I absolutely need something smaller when out and about.

Just for a little info, it seems like the amp draw makes a pretty serious difference in the battery life. At least in my experience.

For instance, when I use a standard Joye 2.2ohm atomizer at 4.8v(10.8 watts at 2.2 amps) my 10490's would last about 5 hours. Now Im using 3ohm atties at 5.7(10.8 watts at 1.9 amps) and the 10490's last me all day long. I'm the same way, wanting to keep it on the smaller side.

That having been said if you want a tank, I have recently found that even though I generally hate cartomizers, a Boge 3 ohm cartomizer in a chibi tank is a rockstar.

Great info. I know I have seen it mentioned many times that low resistance atomizers are not to be used with the Provari. I have seen a good many posts of people trying the LR with mixed results depending on how low their resistance is. I have a couple of standard resistance 510's which I don't know their exact ohms but plan on checking them tonight with my voltmeter. I do want to order some more atomizers which I will make sure they are in the 3 ohm range. I will be happy if I can get one battery to last at least from the time I leave for work till I get home.

I really enjoy dripping although I am going to swing by the bacco shop and pick up some ss pipe screens and try the bonuts. I know I will eventually want to do a tank or two also but I still need to find the one or two juices that are must haves and all day vapes. I have quite a few good ones I got recently from BWB, I just need to give them more time to make sure they are the ones.

You will enjoy your proVari.... To me a tank was a must and you quickly get use to the size. 3ohm just checked it on my Provari no need for a tester anymore @ 4.7 battery is at the 9 hour mark and 3.7v just checked it using my provari:) 18490 3.7v 1100mah 4 in rotation, I do own 2 of the provape 2500 3.7v 18650 i use with extended cap and to be honest i dont see a huge improvment in battery life. Just my opinion tho still testing...

I have 2 of Provary's 2500Mhr and at about 4.7V it will last about 11 hrs so far...charging time on these is 8hrs. and 40 min. I would say these are darn good batt's.

It takes almost 9 hours to charge them? Do you mind me asking which charger you use?

Sounds like I better get more then just two batteries if it takes that long to charge. I got the Pila charger with my order.

I am getting extremely excited to get my Provari. I just ordered a 510 -> 510 adapter and drip shield. I checked the three standard 510's I have and they are all 3 ohm. I also have three lr which are 1.8ohm which I think will be alright too with the lower voltages.

Having the lr 510's have made a big difference in my vaping experience. When I first started I could barely taste any flavors with the standard 510s and now with the lr's I can taste the juices pretty good. Can't wait to having a little more wattage to get a slight warmth to the vapor and taste it more on the tip of my tongue on the drag.

Ordered mine during the Pre-Order, then another for backup. Been using nothing but ProVari's for the last year or so. JMHO

Cheers,
otrpu

I will definitely be ordering a second one in the near future so I have a backup. I want to get a black chrome with blue led for the second one. I have spent over $700 since I started vaping in the last two weeks but it is all worth it and I will break even at the end of December and I haven't touched an analog in 4 days :D

I know I teased about staying home from work due to the Provari being here tomorrow but I might be off work tomorrow due to being sick. I am kind of bummed because right now I can't taste anything and what I can taste seems to taste yuck. I was really looking forward to enjoying a whole new level to all of the juices that I have but I guess that won't be for another couple of days till I feel better and get my sense of taste back.

OMFG, I just took my first 5.5 volt vape with a 3ohm 510 atty. Even with me being sick that is the best hit I ever had.

I called in sick to work today not because of the Provari coming today but because of actually being sick. Knowing the Provari was coming helped with feeling better with anxiousness though LOL.

I gotta say, no matter how many pictures and how many videos you look at the size of it is deceiving. It is so much smaller then what I had expected. I know it has been mentioned before. I believe having the extension cap on it would make it about the perfect size so when I order the black chrome with blue led I will also get some extension caps and a couple 2500 batteries. The size of it though without the extension is perfect for getting it in a pocket and having it out and about.

I am extremely happy with my purchase and feel it was money well spent. Now I hope my wife can get good use out of my ego batteries since I won't be needing them anymore and I am also glad it only took me a little over two weeks to step over to the mod side of things.

Congratulations!

BTW... If you let your wife use it too much, you will end up buying her one. My girlfriend couldn't see paying that much for one, but now since she's been using mine...

She has been so wonderful and supportive of everything I do, if she decides she wants a Provari I would get her one in a heartbeat. Not only that it makes it even easier to justify needing two more backups :D

I got an order in to Bob for gooey better cake and rice crispy treat along with a couple of others. Will be nice to have another go around now that I can turn the wattage up.
