I feel like a kid - and Christmas is 3 days away. I am psyched about getting my SB! I have a Roughstack which is ok (when it works). I'm tired of fiddling with it just to get my cartos working. I still can't get a 510 atty to fire up on it. Even so it did make me realize how much I love vaping at 6 volts. So I figured I should get the best one out there. Even though the SB is a bit pricey - from all the reviews I've read it's a great investment! I opted for the Silver Vein finish...I can be rough on my PC's so I figured that finish should be the best for my life style.

Damn I am excited!! These next few days (waiting for it) are going to take forever. LOL

Congrats! It's an amazing mod! I got the Silver Veign finish too, and it's a work of art.

So what do you think of the SV finish when it comes to durability? Can it be handled rough without worry of it chipping/scratching etc...? Don't get me wrong - I know any finish can chip...just wondering what you think it will look like in a year or so? I know with the Silver Vein there's no concern with smudging. I'm sure that would drive me nuts.

It seems pretty durable. You could probably toss this thing off of a 4 story balcony and it wouldn't hurt it. (I wouldn't recommend that, though! LOL) Definitely doesn't leave any fingerprints or anything. It's hard to describe the finish. You have to see it and hold it in your hands to get the full effect. Pictures just don't do it justice.

I have the black powder coated one. I have seen pictures in the classifieds that show wear and tear, but chips aside, these things stand up to a beating quite well. At the end of the day people have had a sb for quite a long time with no real issues as long as you take care of em.

I think you will enjoy the Silver Vein finish, it has been my go to color for quite sometime. It holds up very well, but I'm not one to drop my mods from 12 feet, run them over, or drop them out of a moving car =P But from the accidental 'Ooopsies' it has held up very well for a little bit over a year. :)

It is inevitable that you will drop your PV. If no one dropped their's. I have seen a couple come back for repair that were damn near 2 years old that looked almost perfect. On the other hand, I have seen some come back that looked like they used it as a hammer.

A hammer?? Haha Why didn't I think of that? With the, ahem, brushed aluminum SB only though not my pink one. Oh man! I so love my pink bullet.:p

Oh Chad when will you get a nice pretty PURPLE Silver Bullet????? Deep Purple would be sooo nice, but I might settle for a Magenta/Fuschia if Melody will. I hope she bugs you about this too. :D

I have been looking at them. The only problem is most purples are translucent(sp) or metalic. Those colors do not hold up very well. I really want to do a purple, dupont has a great one, at least the sample looked good. I thank you for beeing so kind about it too :). Seems every time we get a run done, all the raw stock is taken up from orders. That does not leave me much time to have a few shot in a good purple. When I do get a purple done, I want to send you one free of charge so you can test the finish out for me :)

How about a gold one with a black button...with a Fleur de Lis painted on? ;)

Loving my Silver Vein SB. Got it almost 2 weeks ago and it is amazing! Best money I've spent in a while!
Interesting Idea, will have to check into that. Should be getting my shipment of black switches in next week sometime :)

Don't listen to him Chad! He just wants a NFL Saints Sb! You definitely need to go with the purple / gold for LSU ;) You need a gold top and a purple battery case. That's the way to go ;) Look at it this way. If you make both a purple and gold I'll have to buy both and mix the switches on both ;) haha!!
