Just ordered a new REO mini 2.1 also got the reomizer, ordered batteries, a charger. what else do I need? Does the reomizer come with a drip tip, what kind of drip tip if I want to change it? Do I need wick, or wire? Any help would be great. Coming from the traditional v2 cigs, then to an ego now moving up to real vaping just not sure how to do it. kinda overwhelmed

The Reo feeds by "squonking" (that's what it's called). You put juice in the little bottle, lightly squeeze it and you will see the juice come up into the juice well. That what get's the atty or carto (if you're using that instead) wet. The extra juice is sucked back into the bottle. It takes a little practice if you've never dripped before (it's a similar action), but it won't take long to get a rhythm going.

I got a Reo because I wanted a super simple set-up. Juice, Bottle, atty, battery and I'm done.

The Reo forum is very active and informative. There are stickies about everything Reo. :)

what kind of drip tip if I want to change it? ANY 510 DRIPTIP WILL WORK
Do I need wick, or wire? YES, BOTH. I'D SUGGEST 30GAUGE WIRE AND STERILE COTTON BALLS TO STARTAny help would be great. Coming from the traditional v2 cigs, then to an ego now moving up to real vaping just not sure how to do it. kinda overwhelmed

Answers in bold above.
As for other stuff, I would get a couple of extra springs, extra RM2 post screws, couple of 3ml bottles, and spare o-rings.

Super_x_drifter has some great videos on how to wrap a coil for your RM2, I'm sure someone will post it for ya'. Edit: I did.:)

Edit: You'll need a digital multimeter to check resistance and for shorts

What's he going to vape while he's learning to wrap coils?

Forget the ETA to my first ETA. You do have to test the coil before using it.

having only used a clearomizer I am not sure how the bottle feed works.. do they leak at all? do you have to keep pressure on bottle all the time?

With an RM2 and the o-ring underneath, no it won't leak. You could over-squonk and cause juice to come out of the airhole but you'd have to squeeze really hard to pull that off.

No constant pressure needed. Just a quick light squeeze and you're good to go for a few puffs, you'll get the hang of it pretty quickly.

ETA: I haven't tried an RMS, don't you have to test it before you use it?

Well, he could vape his ego? I dunno he's the one who bought the RM2. :)

And yes, I was just about to edit my other post to include a multimeter.

Troopin, you need a digital multimeter! :)

P.s. Oce, you should give the RM2 a try!

I thought so, but in the first picture of super_x's photo tutorial, he shows what equipment he uses and it doesn't look like there's a meter in it.

I'm sure I will, but I have way too much stuff I'm behind in doing. I don't need anything else in my life right now to get obsessed with - and I will, I like little tiny things.

Oh, I was refering to the sweet vids that SxD made on YouTube, I'm pretty sure he's got a snazzy 510 ohm checker.

A regular lighter works fine to torch, its just to remove residue and take some springy-ness out of the wire. I usually don't do it anymore, I test fire my coils and that burns off whatever is on there.

Edit: I stopped being lazy:) SxD's Microcoil video

I already have torches. :) I like to burn things.

Oh....well by all means, burn away! :)

I like burning stuff too

My heat guns are actually more dangerous. They get just as hot, but there's no flame, so if you don't pay very close attention to where it's pointed and don't work quickly, things catch fire.

Yea I am in the new members forum gotta get my 5 posts in before I can come over and say hi. I have been reading a lot in there but wasnt able to post.. I think I am at my 5 now.. lol.. So I just need a multi meter to check ohms correct.. How often do you have to rebuild or put a new wick in there?

Yeah, I saw you were at 6 posts this morning so you're good to go!

The multimeter checks your coils resistance, checks for shorts, and checks your batteries charge. It does more, but that's mainly what I use it for. Its really a must have unless you've got a mod with an ohm check or a 510 ohm checker. If you get a short, your spring will collapse and make your REO out of commission until you replace the spring.

Rebuilding varies from person to person based on preference. I've heard some people run the same coil for 6 weeks (or more), I usually rebuild mine every couple of days just for fun. The wick depends on what juice you run but most people get at least a day or two with sterile cotton for wick, it is super simple to just pull out the wick, insert new wick, squonk, and vape (takes maybe 1 min tops).
You could also run silica wick, it will last longer between changes but when you change it you'll need to make a new coil as well.
