I just ordered the Advanced Ultra Kit! I am so excited. This unit looks amazing and I cannot wait to try it out. I will post an update when I get it! :)

It will ship out today. I'm just leaving for the post office. I will start a thread for Alpha reviews. You can tell everyone how much you love it there :) Congrats on being one of the first to purchase the best ecig out there.

Ok, I need some info on what batteries to use, in particular what high drains (IMR) I should get.. I have several blue 3.2 lifepo4s but those won't work, will they?

I believe you ordered the ultramax. The 2 batteries that will work with that unit are the 17670 protected Li-ion and the RCR123A LFP 3.2v.

I have been using an eGo for about a year now and have been pretty happy. Decided I wanted a stronger battery and was tired of dripping. I also just wanted to treat myself to something nicer than an eGo. I was waiting for something strong, metal and American made. Looks like this will fit the bill nicely. Really hoping it does, cause it wasn't cheap. But with the seemingly quality of construction and materials, the price seems appropriate. I already have the attys, so I just got the Alpha Ultra w/ RES, 2 batts and charger, drip tip. That discount was huge! Really helped out. Thanks, Alex

I think you will be very happy with your alpha. It sounds like a perfect fit, plus I think you will enjoy the smaller size but increased performance when compared to the ego.

Glad you appreciate the forum discount, we do are best to give the most value possible to the forum community. You guys make it possible for the type of American innovation the e-cig market needs with your support of new products and technology.

Please let us know what you think when you get it, looking forward to your impressions of the alpha ultra vs the ego.

Cheers!

SH

Ya I will most definitely let you know how I like it. I am super pumped, can't lie! And again, like you said, I can't stress enough how important it was to me that this item is designed and made in America. That rocks, simple as that.

The whole e-cig community is really kind of a special group. I'm glad I know about this site...the e-cig world just popped up really, and so...many...people are trying to get their foot in the door with a new product or technique. That makes it hard for the consumer to a certain extent - the sheer amount of choices from everything to mods, batteries, attys, carts, liquids. It can be very overwhelming. But this alpha really caught my eye. I really like the ceramic insert idea. And I found it by just browsing the vendor forums. This site enables the buyer and seller to communicate directly and offer instant, communal feedback which in turns makes for a better product. I love the idea that I'm buying something from someone who knows exactly what went in to make this item.
