Looking forward to receiving it. Been using my Chuck for about a year now and decided I wanted to try 5v. I was one click away from buying the GLV2 when I saw the ProVari in another window. Now I can get rid of my Chuck and have my choice of voltage in one unit.

From what I read this is supposed to be one of the best, of not THE best mod out right now. Something that James Bond would use if he vaped. For those who have experience with one, what is your opinion? Likes/Dislikes?

I like it a lot. I have the 18650 extension, which I think you would need for an all-day vape, if you are a medium to high user.

Mine is one of the batch of ProVari's where the battery charge indicator is a tad sensitive and starts to flash between 2 to 2.5 hours but, if I ignore it, I can get a good six hours out of a charge. I'm sure if I vaped at a lower voltage, I would get more.

It's an awesome device. There's lots written about it in these forums and all the hype is true. You wouldn't believe what a difference it makes to flavour, throat hit and vapour with just a few tenths of a volt up or down. The constant voltage is also a huge plus.

My guess is, the ProVari and Darwin are going to be the industry standard for a while. All we need now is an eGo tank equivalent, a juice feeder system that doesn't look like a Sturmey Archer three-speed and we'll all be ...... off with nothing to look forward to. :D

I love mine - enough that I have two of them.

It's solid, it's been 100% reliable, and it feels good in my hand. I can dial in anything, no matter what juice I'm using, no matter what atomizer or cartomizer I'm using. I use both the shorty batteries and the extended batteries, and I've never run one down in a day. I don't vape full time, but I do go through about 3ml per day.

Before I ordered one, I was a little worried about the interface to adjust everything. This many button presses for one thing, that many for another thing. I have enough to remember, I don't want to have to remember that 11 button presses will let me turn my PV off or on. When I got it, I stopped worrying. I press it until something shows up in the window and then I keep pressing it until it gets to what I want. And after I had things dialed in I don't go into the menu much.

If I had it to do all over again, knowing what I know now, I'd have saved the money I spent on those other things and bought a ProVari first thing. It's all the PV I need.

ETA: You asked for dislikes, too. Not really a dislike, but I want my eGo cone back. I'm still trying to figure out a way to adapt one. I even bought a stainless steel, for when I figure it out. The cone silences the the air draw, and I don't like the whistling noises most PVs make.

All of them are true, except the one that says it'll make you irresistible to everyone you meet, increase your sex drive, balance your checkbook and bring world peace in our lifetime. That one was totally exaggerating.

Yeah and it also does not snowblow my driveway WTF???? Anyway for those that just ordered one all I can say is what you have read about this unit is TRUE. You will be amazed and wondering why you did not order is sooner when it gets there. The Vari really does set a new standard in performance and build quality. This Mod is simply amazing!

Sorry to add to the hype and make the wait that more painful!!! Man how I remember. Almost wore out the F5 key when they began shipping and waiting to see which order number the few boards they would get each day took them too. Placed my preorder early Nov got the Vari the Thursday before Christmas. Have not put it down since. You know how after awhile you sort of get bored with your new toys???? Not This One!!!!

And now you're just making me more impatient! I guess all the waiting will make the day i get it all the sweeter.

I am waiting on my provari as well. I ordered mine on 2/1 same as the OP so we should be getting ours around the same time. Hopefully we'll get shipping notices soon. I just bought a group of standard atties on the classys the other day. I am going to, for the first time, vape at true 3.7volts. I have only had a standard 510 kit and now an eGo, and from my understanding they don't even put out 3.7, more like 3.2. Then I will have fun slowly upping the volts and being blown away by my ability to change how my atties vape without incessent cleaning, and modding, and fiddling. Just crank the volts and enjoy!
