Hello Everyone,
First off, I hope everyone has had a wonderful christmas with family and friends!! I would also wish you good tidings for the approaching New Year;)......

I was just wandering... How many of you received an e-cigarette for Christmas as a present and if so, was this your first e-cig or just an addition to the collection.

If you don't mind.... include as much specifics as you can. Such as, what type and brand you received as a gift, the models you already have for those collectors/venturers out there, and in particular, what you see fit as your number one vendor to rely on for your e-cig supplies. I will start off as an example:

I didn't receive an e-cig for a christmas present, nor did I receive a christmas present this year because I have been a bad boy. I am not going to go into specifics on this point and you will just have to take my word for it!!!!LOL... Anyways, I started by getting an SD MKII through TW several months back and really enjoyed it. After the first few weeks in, I found that I really enjoy the Regular tobacco and Marlboro juice from TW ( only company so far that I care for in the tobacco flavors). I will admit that the Marlboro from TW is not a go gitter but it does grow on you if you just give it time to sink in. I do not agree with any of their candy/fruit flavors because they just don't have that umph and the fruit flavor just doesn't do it for me.
I tend to get most of my candy/fruit flavors from DIYflavorshack and MS T's bakery,as I mix my own for now to be able to adjust all my flavors were I want them. I am somewhat of a seasoned cook, not professionally of course, and pretty picky on my taste.

I decided to get my Sis an e-cig for christmas and hopefully not being tacky, I order myself the same unit to have a back-up. I decided on a 510 strater kit w/pcc and yes, from TW. I was really surprised with this unit because, outside of the battery rate of decay, it does stand up to the MKII. Of course, the SD runs on a 901 and I think I may end up adapting it to a 510. I am going to wait to see how the atty life on the 510 pans out but I do feel that the 510 is far stronger than the 901. May just be because I have a high bridge 901 atty that is about two and a half times the overall length of a 510.

Anyway, that is my story and I am hoping to hear some good ones from the pulpit.... Appreciate your inputs .. Lets hear it!!!

I got myself a BB from altsmoke and a couple 510 kits from cignot. Couldnt be happier with the both purchases, though after getting used to batterly life of the BB, I havnt even bothered messing with the regular 510 batts.

I think your sis will be stoked with the 510 kit, just be prepared to guide her toward a good battery mod once she gets frustrated with the so-so batteries the stock kits come with :D

Thats been something I've noticed with getting friends into vaping, is they all want something that looks just like an analog when they start, but eventually warm up to the idea of rocking a larger mod once they realize how much more consistant and reliable they are.

My thoughts exactly where the bat mods are involved. I started my venture into the e-cig world with an SD. I researched for quite a while before I decided to purchase and found that a lot of places were ragging most of the cig look-alikes because of battery and the bat mods for the burnt flavor. I sought after a happy medium and the SD is a fair yet mediocre product. I would say a little costly for starters but well worth it. Simple indesign, well constructed, user friendly.. looking back, I think the performance of the SD could be improved upon by stepping away from the 901 atty and using a 510, instead. This would probably be my next approach with my SD. I enjoy the eight to twelve hours of steady heavy vaping that I can get out of the battery but the only thing I notice is that the 901 atty dries out very quickly and the flavor production of the juice, as opposed to the 510, is a little thwarted.
Where my sis is concerned, I know exactly how she would be about this product. She has a very sensitive outlook about her child and the look of the joye 510 versus a batt mod would serve her favor best. I couldn't say for sure whether she would be turned off by the mods but as a gift, I have decided to leave the decision to delve in that end of the pool to her... After all, never hurts to have a back up in any event and I look at it like I am introducing this to her. Where she goes with it is purely up to her.
Have a good one, housewife...

I gave a JOYE 510 to a friend and I have another to give my 23 yr old daughter when she visits next week.

I wish you the best on your task of introducing this to your daughter. Hope she catches on and sticks with it. I can't tell you how much better I feel after what I relatively consider a short stint of vaping so far.

Happy Holidays,
Tom
