I figured I'd introduce myself. I have been smoking for 15 years, and I want to quit. The only problem is that I love it. I smoke 1-1.5pcks a day. I have tried patches, gum, hypnosis, everything and I always go back. The kicker is my daughter has asthma. I NEED to quit. I ordered a 510 starter kit from Altsmoke. It should be delivered today or tomorrow. I'm so glad this website is here for support.

I've never ordered from Altsmoke, but they're a registered supplier here, sohopefully you'll have good luck with them! And remember, even if your first vaping experience isn't stellar, keep at it. Sometimes it takes a while to find the setup that's right for you

Hi, Erin welcome to ECF! Hopefully the 510 starter will work out well for you! You might find yourself needing a longer lasting battery, assuming the 510 starter kit you are getting looks like a cigarette? It should be able to satisfy for now but just a heads up the battery life may not be very long. There are so many options on e-ciggs! If one thing isn't working, look around the forum, don't be afraid to ask some questions, and you'll find yourself headed in the right direction.

I ordered from t them due to some excellent reviews that I found on here, and they have some excellent how to videos on youtube. Even before getting my order, I am already looking at other models and things. I figured that a 510 would be a good starting place, and the shape being like that of a reg cig is appealing as I am a little ocd and love to roll my cig between my fingers. If you have any suggestions on models, juice etc. please let me know. I think I will have some fun with the e juice as flavored cigarettes used to be my fav thing ever. lol. I'm really excited to give this a shot!

I ordered 2 starter kits for that very reason. I will most likely upgrade to something else fairly quickly. the goal is to use this model to get off cigs, and then play around with others untill I find something I really like.

The 510 has been around for quite some time. It has a huge following and I'm sure it'll do well in getting you started. Good luck and don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have if you run into problems....we've all been there lol.

If it gets you off of the ciggs that's what counts! Was the model you got automatic or manual?

Juices are such a fun part of using a PV. Good to see it looks like you did some research before.
You may want to try VaporGod.com for juice as they are in PA as well. I'd imagine that'd be super
fast shipping!

I ordered manuals. plus a sample bottle of every liquid. lol. I'll try VaporGod as well. And altsAmoke is in OH. didnt realize the store is only about 45min from me, otherwise I would have just picked it up. So I ordered late Monday, package was shipped early Tuesday and I am checking tracking, oh, about every 3min lol. can;'t for the life of me figure out why usps would send it to the other side of the state first. oh well. If Altsmoke is good, then next time I'll just drive over to the store.

You will be right at home here as many members are/were in your shoes.....me....I smoked over twice as long as you and I've been smoke free for almost a year and a half..
Altsmoke has excellent products and customer service.....if you ever want to upgrade, can't beat a Silver Bullet........

So I received my package from Altsmoke last night. Oh happy Day! 12 hours of vaping, and only 1 cigarette. about 10min ago. which was gross. The only bump in my plan is that A. my husband saw package, assumed I would be sharing, and stole one of my kits. grrr. Then, the 2nd battery in the kit he didnt take to work with him wont hold a charge. sigh. I guess I'm smoking real cigarettes while charging the 1 working battery, and waiting for Altsmoke to contact me about the non-working one. I guess thats 2 bumps in plan. oh well.

Hi Erin. The little 510 got me off a 4 PAD habit. I had to carry 4 charged batteries at all times with me because I vape like I smoked...chain that is. I quickly upgraded to an eGo for battery life but I still use my little 510's when stealth vaping is called for.

So I figured I'd do a quick update. Since I got my kit thursday, I've only had about 10 real cigarettes. They are already pretty gross to me. I got a shipment of juice from ecBlend today. I just ordered a whole bunch of samples. I'm now learning which flavors I like. and which ones I really don't like. I tend to gravitate towards minty and fruit flavors. I really dont like chocolate flavors so far. Which is odd, but they taste gross to me. Overall I was very pleased with my ecBlend order, but will be trying other vendors as well.

I'll make one suggestion not on what type of device but this.
If you feel in the very near future like going back to the darkside try a higher nic content << e-liquid Mg>> to satisfy your brain receptors of there nicotine fix.
I was a 2pad lush for many many years and it worked for me now at 6 months.
