Hey all just put together my first 3.7v box mod..I bought a kit that you put together from Welcome to MadVapes LLC ... If you never have built a mod but thinking on building one this is a good start and will give you an idea how to do it. Now that I seen how easy it was it got me thinking how easy it would to build from other things I have seen around the house and get the use out of some dead 801 and 510 battery's I have in a box (You can disassembled the battery for the battery connectors). When doing so please be responsible and dispose of dead battery's responsibly.

This was simple to assemble it took me 15 to 20 minutes to complete. I am not use to soldering stuff... but on these kits use a low voltage soldering iron so it wont melt the plastic <I used a 15 volt one and had nothing melt> I did some research on the web including youtube.com and have seen others mention that they used higher volt ones and melted some parts so I played it safe with a lower volt iron. This is a already done you tube video of the kit I made I learned from his mistakes before I built mine < YouTube - 2xAA box mod >

I like these kit they are small and compact and you can use the Ultrafire Protected 14500 900MaH Battery's.<NOTE always use Protected battery's NEVER use unprotected battery's> Below is a Pic of my completed kit I used a 510 to 801 adapter so I could use my 810 atomizers and it looks like I am a steam engine mass vapor.

I bought one of their kits and one assembled so I could just look at it and figure it out. I'm saving the kit for when the assembled one dies but it's so simple I can just replace any part that goes bad. It vapes great and I've put my eGo's aside in favor of this little mod. The only thing I've had problems with is a little leakage if I drip too much or too early. The extra juice gets inside and I have to wipe it out now and then or it runs out the vent hole in the bottom after a while.

Nice job, I think more consideration should be given to these when recommending to newbys. Unbeatable price if someone wants to put it together or still a great deal at $20ish assembled. That would leave enough to get a charger, battery and other things that come in the kits. Plus vaping at true 3.7v is amazing in comparison to what the Ego/Riva and others can do.

Congrats! You guys are giving me the fever to try and I don't know the first thing about nothin! I see the stuff the modders make and think, who could I get to make me one :) I'm going to have to rethink this...

Look in the modders forum, lots of people building and selling there at very good prices on basically any config you want or you can get the one above already assembled at madvapes for $20ish.

I've recommended them to people who aren't sure if they want to get into mods or not, or just trying to get a mod on the cheap. I bought a Maxi Roughstack at the same time as the boxmod and quite frankly I like the boxmod better. It's smaller, lighter, and more pleasant to use. I got it with the intention of throwing it in my "In case of ban" stash, but found it to be my favorite, at least for now. And you can't beat the price of batt's either, at around $4 each you can buy 4 for the price of one eGo batt and they're 900mah.
