With advice from sailorman I just received my Apollo Chrome Vtube and Vivi Nova 2.5 tank and a few other things I ordered. Even my extra battery came today also. Will have to say I am glad I did buy the 510 Extender, Read somewhere on the forums about getting one if you get the chrome or ss Vtube model. Just a word to the wise if you order an Apollo Chrome or SS model make sure you get an 510 extender or it will be a tight fit and no air draw.

I am very pleased with this setup and the voltage selector is very nice to dial in for that just right taste and warmth. I was not expecting such a better taste.

Thank you again sailorman and so happy I found this forum, wish I would have came here first before buying my first setup. At least I have a backup setup if I need it.

I thought the draw was way to airy on my vtube with most attys/cartos. The only thing that seemed to help was a sealed 510 connector with a ego 3.5ml tank cone. Works like a charm now. I also got the chrome one. It looks pretty cool with the exceptions of all the fingerprints. UltraViolet I think your silver bullet will work without an adapter btw.

my chrome vtube and vivi nova 2.5 also came today based on sailorman's excellent recommendation!!! the only major problem is the crap charger they sent with the kit is not working properly. i did not get the 510 extender yet but i definitely need one. the vivi on the chrome tube is definitely a tight draw. i have my tank just slightly loosened and it is working fine but i don't want to walk around with a loose tank. i mean, i only have to loosen it slightly, maybe an 1/8th of a turn, and it hits like a beast!

what 510 extender should i order for my "novatube?" (nova2ube? sailortube? haha. we need a cool nickname, methinks! :2cool:)

Blinx, it's not a silver bullet, it is a silver-colored vtube. What is a tank cone? Do you have a link? I am disappointed as I wanted to vape with this baby as soon as I got it. Now it looks like I need to order more things separately. What a pain.
Sorry I read that wrong. Honestly you wont need anything to vape with a vivi nova tank on a v-tube. You will need an adapter to use the vision stardust clearomizers though. Here is a link to the cone i am talking about. eGo Chrome Cone for the 3.5 mL Dual Coil Tank Cartromizer. You also don't need the cone. It only fits on the new body style v-tube. I think the silver one is the old body style. I could be wrong though. I used my V-tube for a month without it. It just helps to restrict air flow and gives a tighter draw.

The charger that originally came with my kit was also crap. I had to get the battery just right for it to charge and the cord was shorted out. Get in touch with Apollo and they will send you a new one. This extension should give you better air flow. V2 510 Shorty Extension- Unsealed

Okay, thanks guys for the help. Is there an adapter for the clearomizers that you know of?
Also, I ordered the vivi nova because it seemed easy. Would love to try more advanced tanks but punching cartos and taking apart the tanks and putting them back together seems like a pain and overwhelming to me. Any advice on what's best for a newb to try?

Gald to hear you like it. I got my SS vtube last week and I am loving it.

I'm surprised, my pull is actually pretty easy/airy.

Quick question: when screwing in a cartomizer or atomizer, do they wiggle back and forth in the connector portion, as in the thread, until tightened all the way down?

Mine is doing so and I'm not sure if it should. Thanks!

Boge standard resistance cartomizers work very well on my v-tube. You can also get the full voltage range on them. They are easy to fill, extremely cheap, and reliable. Here is a link to a 3 box bundle deal with free shipping and a free drip tip.Crystal Clear Vaping . This adapter should be long enough to use the ego vision clearomizers on your v-tube but i'm not 100 percent on that. 510 Battery Extension

Congratulations to everyone on your Vtube arriving! I received mine last week (also based on sailorman's recommendation) and I have been super happy with mine.

I wonder if the Vivi Nova V2 is different on the base than the V2.5. I ordered one of those last week for the Vtube and I am very pleased with the airflow. I guess it's personal taste as well though. It doesn't feel airy like I have heard some others complain about, it seems perfect to me.

I did order the 510 adapter for the smoketech cartomizers I have so I use them before my Vivi Nova arrived. I had trouble with them screwing solidly onto the cartomizers. It was like you couldn't tighten them yet the threads were ok. It still worked at least.

Now I only vape with the Nova, so no big deal now.

Enjoy!

I got my vivi nova today and also got the vtube.....NOW I am in vaping heaven. I know I'm going to need some guidance on changing the flavors in the vivi nova.

You haven't actually asked yet, but regarding changing flavors: I have literally just vaped it almost dry and then I unscrewed the bottom and top then rinsed out the tube and took a paper towel to the outside of the head. Then I dried the tube with a paper towel and put it all back together and put in a different flavor. On the first two or three puffs I noticed the old flavor but after that I only tasted the new flavor.

Pretty easy for me. I am still going to order two or three more of these because I like to vape different flavors throughout the day.
