I'd put money on any beer flavors being nasty I've never seen a good review of any of them. I did get some rum flavor I've mixed it with other flavors haven't tried vaping it straight yet but its been pretty good as a mixer, I just don't think I'd want to vape it straight if I'm not going to get any alcohol out of it. May as well drink o'douls

LOL, yeah I was kind of thinking the same thing. However, to each their own - I guess that's why there are so many different flavors. Just thinking of the alcohol flavors is making me nauseous.

You're getting lots of opinions on tobacco flavors, so now here's mine...
:)

If you want something that tastes remotely like tobacco, don't get these...
1) Backwoods Brew
3) FreedomSmokeUSA
2) Halo

I would recommend the following three...
1) DK TAB (Dekang Turkish American Blend)
2) Johnson Creek Tennesee Cured (a little sweeter)
3) Tasty Vapor tobacco (a little sweeter still)

But really, there are tons of flavors from various suppliers that do taste quite a bit like unburnt tobacco.
For instance I got some American Spirit and some Flue Cured from Wordupecig that are pretty good too.

I think the best that can be done is to get something that tastes like tobacco smells before you burn it.
But no juice in the world is going to taste like tobacco that is burning.

And therefore, the distinction between Camels, or Marlboros, or any other brand is just an exercise in complete futility.
None of them come anywhere close to tasting like any particular brand for the most part.

I have to disagree.. Johnsons creek anything is my least favorite. Tastes like some kind of cough drop. Backwoods brew on the other hand.. I think it's his base. The flavors don't taste like tobacco... But, they're not overly sweet or too strong. Tennessee cured is extremely sweet to me. I hear his flavors were better before he changed them. I dunno, have you tried them in a while?

The DKTab may be the one to try since his analog of choice is Camel. However, I think it's pretty clear that there isn't one juice that's going to be a perfect replacement. Honestly, I'm so over trying to make it the same and really looking forward to trying the different flavors... enjoying the vape as a vape and not a cig substitute. Hopefully he'll come around to my way of thinking.

In the meantime, he just put in a new cart and is still glaring at me LOL

Hah, that cracks me up!! Are you guys still smokin nasties? Or committing to the ole "asthma inhaler"? I've never had DEkang I don't think. Unless vapor4life is dekang. I really don't know. I do know I don't order from them or anyone for that matter except backwoods brew. What is DKTab supposed to taste like anyway? That old soda drink?

LOL, I'm definitely not. Honestly, I never really did like the smell and taste of analogs - just addicted to them. This is way better and the transition is going smoothly for me. The conversation about the tobacco flavors here has to do with my son who can't seem to get his head away from trying to make this exactly like analogs; I'm working on him though.

Did you mean you tried it with the pre-filled or with juice you added in it? It provides decent vapor if juice...

I hadn't seen him since he got the safe-cig so was able to try it today. He just bought the kit and knew nothing about juice and when I looked at it, it was a pre-filled cartomizer. They basically have two flavor options "regular" and "menthol" LOL - his was "regular". Damn if he didn't go out on my deck and smoke an analog! Hmmmmm, not cool!

re: Camel flavor.

I have some Camel from e Smokey Treats that reminds me EXACTLY of Camel analogs.
I don't really like it, I didn't care for Camel analogs, but it does taste like a Camel.
It is the only ecig tobacco flavor that was the flavor I expected/remember.
I have couple a Virginia that is kinda sorta like an analog too.

I was a Newport smoker.
My daily vapes are MB from My Vapor Store, and DIY Cowboy, Burley from FA in Italy.
Go figure!
I hated the Cowboy (I nicknamed it CowFArt)when I got it, it tasted like perfume, now it is one of my faves.
I liked the Burley from the get go but now I like it more.
I tried the Maxburrro hoping FA finally made and named a MB/TAB equiv. but no go for my taste buds.

It took me a week till I got a flavorful hit off my first ecig. (carts and I do not get along)

I have many mL's of juice that did not meet expectations.

YMMV

Well,I have the Safe Cig and the SmokeStik Hendu - both 4081's. While I think the taste is good I do not think that model is powerful enough for anyone that smokes a pack a day or more. It just isn't -in my view. People that smoke need a powerful hit to satisfy them. But putting juice into my 4081 carto does taste good. I puff it all the time.

The problem, besides the obvious like battery life, for it is smokers sometimes crave a very strong hard hit once in a while. This cannot be achieved using a carto, in my view. You need an atty/cart for that. With the EGO you need a LR atomizer to do the trick.

Point is this. For the vast majority of your smoking needs throughout the day, a 4081, or EGO with carto, etc. is best as it is very convenient. But smokers want/need something more - a few times a day. That is why I do not think the 4081 is powerful enough to be used as your only PV.

Also, he may need to step up to 24mg if 1 pack a day plus. I only had 12 and 18 before. I got my first 24mg yesterday.... You can feel the difference... it will give you a nico buzz... lol.

TheBuss, you very well may be right. I believe he is at an 18mg and was a much heavier smoker so I'm going to suggest the 24 for those times that he may be jonesing for an analog.

I've been analog free for 3 weeks since getting my eGo. I too was a vaping virgin and I have a question that may not belong here so forgive me. I am having trouble filling the syringe! I can't seem to get the liquid to draw into it. Has anyone had this problem? I'm using 50/50 from Freedom Smoke and an 18 gauge syringe. Is the liquid too thick? Help pls. I love the eGo cartomizers but am having problems filling them even though I know the procedure. Just a syringe problem....Susan
