So I come home today and see the package from NJOY and i'm excited as hell so I tear open the package and run up to my room to examine it.

Everything looks good so I put the battery in the charger and wait anxiously for it to charge. The light goes green after an hour, but i've read that it takes 12, so i'm a little wary, but I take it out and try it.

It was freaking terrible. The cartridge leaked juice all over my lips and it tasted like crap. Absolute crap and I was quite disappointed, however, I remember from the wonderful folks on this board that the NPRO really shines when it comes to dripping, so I thought what the hell, let's give it a try. I pry out the cartridge and squeeze the juice out of it onto the atomizer. Two drops.

I try it again, and i'm loving it. It doesn't taste that great, and doesn't produce a crapload of smoke, so I went ahead and ordered the Cappuchino and Strawberry flavors from Janty.

But so far, i'm really liking it, minus the whole crappy ... cartridge thing, but i'm hoping once the eliquid gets here, it'll be great.

One thing though, when I draw it into my lungs, barely any smoke comes out. Is this normal? Or do I just need better liquid?

You need a fully charged battery. It doesn't have enough power to vaporize the juice in the cartridge so when you drag you get liquid instead of vapor.

From the sound of it, this is exactly the case.

NEVER use the charger's lights to indicate when the battery is actually charged. Set a timer or check your watch when you put them on.

Is an ecig like a real cigarette = No.

Don't like the taste = Like anything else, you have to acquire a taste for it.

Juice in the mouth = drawing too hard, too fast, or cart is too full.

Where is the smoke = You are inhaling a vapor of water and propylene glycol. It is not smoke, it dissapates quickly in the air or your lungs.

Cartridges = A necessary evil if you are on the move and cannot sit quietly and drip.

The cartridge leaked juice all over my lips...

Mine was doing that, too. Keeping the batteries fully charged (and ignoring the stupid green LED) helped. So did taking a priming puff to warm up the atomizer before inhaling. Thank goodness for this forum or I would never have learned about those things! But I still get a droplet by the hole on the cartridge! I've taken to wiping it on my jeans after each inhale to make sure it doesn't get on my lips.

I'll try dripping (once my Johnson Creek non-PG sampler arrives) to see if that helps. But I don't think I'm going to keep the NJoy Npro.

I think you just need a bigger battery to do it right. I just ordered a screwdriver: cavecom period com slash screwdriver. (I can't post URLs yet)

The Jantystick looks like it might have a big enough battery, too, but it's not out yet. jantyusa period com
