Just received my Tobeco Kayfun Lite+ clone :)

Hey guys,

Just got my hands on my first rta! I haven't received the kanthal I ordered yet so I decided to use the pre-built coils they provide for now.

Couple things:

- Even though I took it completly apart and washed all the pieces, I still get a metal taste.. Is this normal for SS?
- Where is everyone buying their clear window section from? I think its dumb that its not included in this kit...

I can't wait to start building microcoils, I'm not very impressed with the pre-built regular coils it came with.

Nobody is impressed with the pre-built coils it or basically any atty comes with. If you have to use it while you wait I would suggest giving it a good rinse and dry burn, that's likely where your off taste is coming from provided you cleaned the atty, all the parts, inside and out very well.

Congrats and welcome to the kayfun nation. I'm not sure who has the best price on the clear section, but fasttech has a full length pmma tank at a decent price. Search fasttech for 1570900 if you want to take a look at it. It should fit your tobeco just fine.

I just took a look at that, looks pretty good but i was hoping for just the smaller middle ring. I'll keep looking around

I used the prebuilt coils on mine because I got it in the mail while I was on the way out to the bar.. Tasted bad but somewhat tolerable at first and then nuclear in a couple of hours. I think it might have been having a hard time wicking pre-built as I recently tried to use 3mm ekowool in it and have had similar issues (I think one side might be crammed down the juice hole on accident, or maybe the wick is just too thick to saturate properly the way I have it sitting..).
