I've seen those at the gas stations. They are 0 nic.

But then why do they include this info in their disclaimer on their website:

These guys seem to be treading the "not allowed to advertise as a smoking cessation product" line a little too closely.
"New Year's Resolution? Start with a J&J"
I wouldn't be surprised if HC slams them for that display at some point.

But I LOL'd at the website, referring to the atomizer as a "nano chip" hahahaha we are in 1980s sci-fi territory now.

Heh. I can just see an early Gibson wannabe plonking something like that into his work:

...Dorsett shrugged, and took a drag on his electronic cigarette. The nano-chip activated and delivered a carefully-measured puff of synthesized nicotine to the back of his throat.

"You still sucking on that thing, Dorsett? They always tasted like burning microcircuits to me," Boyd said, lighting up. Dorsett had always thought there was something almost heraldic about Boyd's use of tobacco, in this age of dime-store syntheisizers. Must be a status thing, he thought. You had to spend at least a year growing that stuff before you could use it. High-roller.

"Yeah. Gotta save a few Yen somewhere. Speaking of which, Hiroshi said to tell you to shove your offer for his thyroids. Five large is half the going rate and you and he both know it."

Boyd grinned. "You just tell him Boris said five grand would be quite reasonable, considering the circumstances."

And so on.

Edit: Dagnabbit, hit post before I said what I wanted to say.

I've seen those in a couple pharmacies now, and they openly say on the kits there's no nic in them. First time, they were going for $75 or so for two batteries, a charger and some cartos. I think they're cheaper now. They were in with the Nicorette and stuff, so there's a very fine line being trodden, indeed. Guess insinuation and product placement aren't the same thing as an open claim.

One carto = 2 packs, my left n... um, foot. This is why I disapprove of these things, even though they get vaping into the limelight. They're making claims they can't back up, and more than one person's going to dismiss vaping as an alternative out of hand, after trying something like this and not getting anything close to satisfactory results. :glare:

Doesn't matter what store is selling them ,,,, they are all junk. These products come with no nic cartos and are no different then the product sold by, for example, E-CIGARETTES: Top-Rated Electric Cigarette | Green Smoke® (however you can get nic cartos from them). This is what I started vaping with and it didn't take long for me to switch to a better product once I found ECF. I will say that if these products do get anybody off the analogs then it is money well spent :)

Saw this on their FAQ page: "Jasper & Jasper products use a formulation manufactured in a European GMP pharmaceutical facility. Our cartridges only contain Glycerol, Flavouring & water opposed to traditional cigarettes which contain over 4000 chemicals. Our products have been tested to CE & ROHS standards to comply with international electrical safety standards.

Unfortunately we are not able to make any health claims that J&J products will help you quit smoking as this is a new technology that is still in it's infancy and requires long-term clinical testing to claim such things. Jasper & Jasper is actively involved in this process."

The funny thing is that I found ECF because of this brand.
I saw some of these about a year ago at my regular gas station. While looking for more info on them, I came across ECF and found enough good information that I decided to start vaping with proper equipment...

I'm another example of how these poor quality e-cigs can sometimes lead you to ECF and the better products. Never did try the zero nic storefront versions.
