Just Spent 600.00 bucks, need advice !!!

Hi all,
I have been using Safe Cig for about 2 months now. I like them.
Using menthol 24 mg
To me, really tastes good & satisying w fresh bat & cart.
I was trying to duplicate the taste, draw, etc. Tried rn 4081, with juice from Backwoods Brew 24 mgs Nico Medium Menthol. got the carts for rn 4081.
Tried several times, but cant get anywhere close to satisfying me like fresh bat & 24 mg cart from SafeCig.

Want same tate, draw, NICOYINE. But want reliability, consistency.

Figure I have saved about 800 on analogs ( I live in NY, 10.00 per pack )

Here are my orders, What else do I need, I wanna be set up for a month or longer, wanna have all I need for 1 - 2 months. Euipment & juice. Wanna have all by Sept.

What did I waste, what else do I need?? Wanna be set up for a couple months.

What about juice, I REALLY like the 24 mg Safe Cig taste.

Should I order more safe cig Cartos just in case ? I'd ratyer just move on.

Aside from that, I'd just suggest some more backups (attys and batteries). Seems like you've only ordered 1 of each.

Looks like you're missing 14500 batts for your Reo as well.

I absolutely loved SafeCig 24mg menthol too. After I found ECF I started trying all sorts of other menthols peppermints and almost every other flavor. A month later I tried a SafeCig and almost gagged. They became nasty to me.
Moral of the story; roll with the punches. You may come to realize that butter toffee orangutan ... is the flavor you have always dreamed of. Unlike cigs, vaping is a much better experience when you vary flavors somewhat. You may find a favorite, but most of us have at least one secondary flavor (if not hundreds).

I would have picked up regular 3ohm cartos for the provari, it doesnt like LR. Crystal clear vaping sells them for 15 cartos for under $20 shipped and they give you free drip tips. I would also suggest that you pick up some extra Aw18650's(you get about 4 hrs per charge)..the cheapest place ive seen them were at Rnr manufacturing for around $9. Grab a liquinator or a Jtank for your cartos if you want an all day vape without having to refill every 5 hits.

My goodness... That's quite a lot... It took me two months to acquire that much stuff!

If you dig the REOs (and I'm sure you will) then you're probably all set. Most of my experimenting (read "spending") these days comes as a result of looking for that juice delivery sweet spot. I change flavors a lot throughout the day, so the juice feeders aren't really my thing... I think I'm finally happy with tanks...

I've found the ProVari works fine at lower resistance, but obviously you have to dial down the voltage. I use 1.5 ohm attys all the time at about 3.7... The Provari doesn't like it much above 4.0V...

You don't need that 901 atty (you bought 2 in different vendor). What you will need is some cartomizer. Get some boge 510 LR cartos / smoktech 510 single coil 1.7ohm carto for your provari. And some more e-liquids. You will also need more batteries, one more AW 18490/18500 IMR. And you can buy AW 18650 2900mAh Protected Battery for your Provari, they have sufficient amps, and last longer.

If your trying for 2 months worth of stuff, I dont see enough juice to last 2 weeks of heavy vaping. Also, juice being so highly subjective, I would suggest getting double what you need, in 15 ml size so as to minimize waste.
Suggested companies: Back woods Brew and Vermillion River.

I might guess that you should try Dekang for juice too, as its the most likely one used by the original cig you mention, but I dont know that....

Average/high user goes through about 5 ml/day. 60 days x 5ml= 300 ml MINIMUM. You;ll prolly not like all you try....

You won't need the feed tubes for the REO...in my experience. The tubes hardly ever break....it's not something I'd plan for. I'd stock up on atomizers and make sure I had enough batteries, then I'd spend my money on juice. The 901 will not fit a 510 REO (the 306 will) so either don't get it or get an adapter. You'll need 14500 batteries for the REO Mini.

And those atomizers are extremely low resistance - are you sure you want those? I recommend you not put those 1.6-ish attys on provari - you will pop them in a minute.

306 are 510 thread with exposed bridge, so it will fit.

All I have to say is this is going to be a lot hotter than whatever you were using before.

Maybe pick up a standard resistance 510 atty or 2 in case you blow the LR ones.

You may want to slow down on ordering everything at once there and focus a bit on getting a great PV and any of the accessories you need and then spending the bulk of your budget on trying juices.

I can say from experience the REO is going to be fantastic, I don't own a Provari but I'd sure like to, I'm guessing both of these units will be excellent.

Spend some time in their respective threads researching what you need: batteries, atomizers, cartomizers are the most important thing. 510 and 901s are not interchangable. 306 atomizers fit on 510 threads but require you to have a 306 drip tip to use them.

A few places I really trust when shopping for atomizers, cartomizers and drip tips are ikenvape, avid vaper and crystal clear vaping. There are a zillion other suppliers as well.

You may want to try out a little of everything, but be aware that with your high voltage Provari you need to use high voltage atomizers and cartomizers. On the sites I mentioned above these are usually marked 'HV' for High Voltage.

Low resistance atomizers and cartomizers were created to mirror the performance of high voltage PVs. Low resistance atomizers and cartomizers are usually used on PVs that generate 3.7v and below, although I've heard some use them on slightly higher voltage PVs (like a variable voltage (or VV) PV, like your Provari), but if you're going to set your Provari higher than say... 4.2 (which you should! try it out!) then stick to the High Voltage atomizers/cartomizers.

Since you're getting a REO mini--which uses 14500 3.7v batts--focus on getting the Low Restistance (LR) atomizers and cartomizers to use on that. Try out a 510 and a 306 atomizers. Try out some LR dual coil cartos and some LR single coil cartos.

But really, truly, none of this matters unless you're finding the juice you need. I've spent a lot in my first few months of vaping and I'd say a majority of that was on juice. Finding ones you like is the fun part. So take a look at what you've got up there, do at least a few days' more research (of course, by research I mean just reading ECF, which is fun as hell) before hitting the 'BUY' button on all of it and then go crazy trying stuff out and having fun. That's a heck of a nice nest egg to get started.

Liberty Flights has a nice spearmint menthol juice.. If you were to vape 4 mL per day you would need about 240 mL of liquid. I wouldn't buy that all at one time as you might not love the flavor. I think you picked out a perfect pair. Reo mini is awesomely convenient for when you need convenience and portability and Provari for the times when you need more of a kick. You need the red AW IMR 14500 batteries to go with your mini if you want the best batteries for it. I bought mine at Clouds of Vapor. Your mini can use any LR stuff that you can't use on the Provari. You can trade the 901 atomizers in the classifieds or get an adapter. The mini can also use cartomizers and if you decide to try it I recommend the Boge LR cartomizers. Very nice picks for your equipment .. Should make ya happy for a long time!
