So many possible questions.

First congratulations on switching over :)

What settings are you using on the mod? Never used the Melo tank myself, is it a rebuildable? Manufactured coils? What resistance? Type of juice? Heavy PG, Heavy VG? 50/50 blend? How much nicotine? I would work with the mod you have before shelling out money for another one. It might just be your settings and liquid.

HI all

I just started vaping about a week ago, and I'm finding my mod to be to week for me.it is a eleaf 50 and a melo tank. Does anyone have any advice what kind of mod I should get

Hey Raser - welcome to ECF.

When you say that your mod is "too weak", what do you mean? What are you seeking with your vape? Are you wanting something to quit smoking; are you chasing flavor; are you looking to fog up a room?

What is your PG/VG ratio of your juice? What resistance head do you have in the Melo? How much power are you applying?

Everyone wants something "unique" to their style of vaping. A mod that I love, you may hate. You've only been at it for a week now - I think you may find your reactions to vaping will change as you progress. I started with simple eGo-style stick batteries and EVOD tanks. That was enough to get me to quit smoking. I'm 20 months into it now, and I'm starting to explore different "styles" based on different builds in my RTAs and RDAs. My mod has less to do with my style other than knowing I can SAFELY deliver sufficient power to my topper. I have 30-70W devices, and I've only a couple times come close to pushing 30w.

This is the result of a 30g parallel-strand, single-coil build. Metered out to 1.44 ohms, and I'm guessing about 25W max from my mod. (Frame of reference, cloud size from left to right has traveled almost six feet.)

I don't need megawatts to have a good vape :) I need a good build, good airflow, higher (but never above 80%) VG and proper wicking.

Take some time to explore good TOPPERS. You can use a LOT on that iStick 50.
