Ok I have been vaping for awhile now (about a year) and when I started the new "hot" thing was the ego, LOOOOONG story short I have owned everything from the cheap wall plug ins to the Ali'i which if you know mods is the best of the best. Hands down the easiest and most consitant I have used has to be the new ego tank.

I was waiting to do a review (i will post on youtube & here tomorrrow) because i wasnt getting flavor and to be honest I was going to give it a so-so review because while it vapes like a chimeny not so much flavor, than my atty broke in and wow not bad flavor, full 510 flavor? no. BUT no messing around with dripping, cartridges, mess, hassle. You fill your caps, you pop one on thats it. Want to change flavor put in a differant cap, it takes about 10 puffs and your new flavor starts. ALMOST impossible to flood or burn dry it just works.

SOOO why am I writing this? Because tonite I showed a long time smoker who would NEVER put up with the hassles of a 510. Just one of those people that would never vape because of the mess, having to learn, having to adjust whatever and no kidding I handed her the ego Tank (she had tried my 510s in past, and 808s) and 3 puffs later with out a word she just said "I am going to smoke this instead of cigarettes now) and i was blown away.

What the ego brings to market that has been needed is simplicity. Its so easy a ..... from health canada could figure it out. And thats what people need, they dont need to be endulged by the hurdles we all went though learning differant types and what benifits are (510 for throat hit, 901 for flavor, 808 for harshness yadda yadda) it works. Does a new vaper think the flavor is too low? Nope they dont know any difference. Does a new vaper think that vapor production is not as good as a LR 306, nope they have no clue what a 306 is.

If you are tired of the BS get yourself a tank set up and be done with it. Will it be my all time vape? probably not, yes in the car and on the run at home I like to drip BUT anytime i get a new vaper that wants to replace analogs without a second thought then I know the tank will serve them perfectly.

NOTE: While I am a vendor i sell NO HARDWARE and I personally do not care what people buy or from whom! This is 100% unbiased as I have ZERO vested interest in the tank in fact I bought my atty from NFN and run it on a crappy riva and it works wonderfully.

I wrote this in hopes that if you have someone that is HARD to please in life and you think that vaping would be a tough sell on them than think the tank. It works, well.

That's a pretty good review, thanks! I had been wondering if I shoulda placed my order for one, and now I am really eager for it to get to me so that I can try it for myself... I've read here that it can be a leaky thing and I was hoping I didn't jump the gun. Now, I just need to get some Juicy Clear juice to put in it!

I've been rocking my tank for a few weeks now. Two different atties on rotation and several tanks re-filled a few times already.

ZERO leaks. The flavour may not be the most amazing, but it's definitely good. I also don't take the plugs off to fill, I press a bottle right up tight to the hole and fill that way. The leak issues are likely from removing that cap for re-fills too often and wearing it down.

I definitely recommend this now to people who think vaping is too much work.

Like jimi said.. its got to be the easiest setup out there for a newbie now.

Still don't own an eGo-T but it certainly sounds easy.

When I first started I bought the Green Smoke, it was supposed to be "easy" and "last a whole pack of cigarettes". Then I gave up and got the 510 because it was supposed to be "easy" and "last for a half pack of smokes"... Neither Lived up to that expectation.

Now I think it is safe to say that if you buy an eGo-T that it is going to be easy and last you all day. New Vapers really do have it made :D

Me too! The device sucked, but man, they had coffee flavor that was so good, and I've never found anything that good again.

Guess this is maybe where things can vary...

I have yet to find a carto that actually tastes really good.. closest have been the Boge standard 510's and with those I only get a few puffs before it tastes off.

If I want to really get the flavour of something I HAVE to drip it... no carto/cart/tank has ever really given me that flavour.

But personally I think cartos are worse than the tank.

Interesting. I started with normal 510 atty and cart. Very quickly discovered dripping, and completely ditched the carts because dripping was better flavor. Decided to order some low res cartos to try out, and found the flavor was much better than dripping, plus a carto could hold enough juice to last my drive to work. I have since tried to go back to dripping (while at home), and thought the flavor was so lacking compared to cartos, that I now don't bother dripping. I'm 100% vaping thru low res Boge cartos.

My wife drips 90% of the time. Every now and then she'll pick up my eGo (with its carto) and take a drag or two. She has said "the taste is so good, and the vape is so smooth in those cartos". She really does think the cartos are better, she just really hates filling them, so she doesn't use them. But she still loves to take a hit off of mine whenever she can.

Hi inked. Just goes to show that when it comes to vaping, one size does not fit all. I absolutely adore the Boge cartomizers...great flavour, great vapour, satisfaction all round. For me. Some people don't like them at all. Sometimes it's a matter of not using them properly...other times it's just a personal preference. So yeah, it's nice that everyone has their favourite methods etc...just saying, a lot of the time it's subjective.

And Jimi...I'm really happy for your friend who was so receptive to the eGo-T. I hear ya about some of the smokers out there too lazy to consider vaping. I've seen some smokers decide to not pursue vaping because they were too lazy to visit a website & place an order, for goodness sakes! They actually said "yeah, that's too much work. I'd rather smoke." We have to accept that some folks are just completely stupid in the head (and/or just aren't ready to quit, lol). Otherwise they'll drive you crazy. Their loss, I say!

That said, just because your friend didn't like the 510, and did like the eGo-T...doesn't mean that the eGo-T is necessarily for everyone. Or that the 510 or standard eGo aren't. When I started vaping, the automatic 510 + 510 cartomizers = pure awesome, for me. It was sooo simple, & it delivered everything I was looking for. No looking back. So yeah, it's subjective.

If someone finds one PV works better for them than another, or is more appealing...then yay, go for it. But I don't waste time anymore trying to cajole uninterested, lazy smokers into anything. My time is better spent with the many other smokers I run into who are eager to learn & thrilled to discover that vaping exists.

I have recently played with dripping at home. if I had to do it all the time though I'd never have kept vaping. sure it tastes great but I don't have time for that. I start my day at 7 am, load up my gear, drive an hour (up to 2 hrs on fri and sat) to get to work, work a full day and get home sometimes as late as 9pm. I have to fill my chemical bottles, replace towels etc etc... and service my equipment... I fill a tank for each setup and have one in each pocket and carry a spare tank and charger setup in the van in case. now I don't seem to go through as much so I rarely need to change a tank and haven't had to recharge on the road all week.

simplicity. takes 10 seconds to fill a tank or 2, pop a condom on and toss in the tupperware container that sits on my van's console. flavour is slightly different than dripping but I find it is tons of flavour and have tried the juices both ways now. I prefer the taste of dk tab in the tank over dripping. the dk tastes earthy dripping but more like an analog in the tank to me.

I blew out my atty from the battery side and found it didn't seem to wick as well... so I blew it the other way and maybe the wick went back down inside properly but no more burned taste... and some of these tanks are really hard to puff on. very constricted. so I took the little plugs out of the mouthpiece and they work way better. vg is a bit thick for these things. it works but I find now that I am thinning my nic out with vg, that it takes some pre puffs to wet the atty, then I get a good puff. my chocolate/caramel mix is quite thick with vg but a pre puff and the cloud of sweet vapour is tremendous...

Good job- you just talked me out of getting the tank. To me, the most important thing is flavor. I love the flavor of low res carto on my eGo. And if something is not comparable to that, I'm not even interested. Sounds like the tank will not be comparable.

Where do you buy your LR boge carto's? I was thinking of picking some up on my next order and found greenhouseone has them for 1 buck each. I've never tried a carto before but now I'm really interested. I'll probably order from greenhouseone because they have a good deal on "the unmentionable product" that is getting soooo much heat these days.

$1 each is a good price. I got mine $8 for 5 at electronicstix.com. I like the cartos because I can fill up 3 or 4 in the morning, throw them in a case, and be set for the work day.
