Just thought I'd get some clarification....

Yesterday I received 2 five-packs of Boge F16s (1.8 ohm) and an F16 with a pre-installed tank. I'll try to be brief, but here's what happened:

Filled up the tank, put some drops into the carto, let it sit for a minute or two. Went to vape. Nada. Checked the ohm reading... it said 0.7ohms. :/

Next one I tested first (1.7 ohms, good enough), then filled and installed into the tank. Fired once. Nothing. Read the Ohms again: 0.7ohms. K......

Next one: Tested, filled, installed. Fired it up. Coil started to glow red. Bad news. Check ohm reading, went down from 1.7 to 1.6.


Finally on the third one I got it filled and operating.


Just wondering if anybody can explain to me what happened there? Thanks.

Not sure how much help I can be without more info but I'll try
3 guesses: 1 not enough juice in the carto and it fried 2 too many volts to the carto and it fried 3 bad batch of cartos and they fried

I think it was the not enough juice one. I was just too over-eager. I've learned my lesson.
