Actually SS can be used in both TC and Wattage / power mode. Also, you can use any kind of wire with the RBA deck.

So my SS coil (pink band) is fine with both, excellent. And I know buddy just using the ones which came with it which are kanthal I believe, which is only ok for wattage? Love this forum so many questions and they are all answered thank you!

Actually SS can be used in both TC and Wattage / power mode.

So long as a mod supports SS/TC

Most popular types of wires

Kanthal - power only: most complex wires (clapton, alienwire, etc) are of this material as well unless stated otherwise

Ni200 (Nickel) - TC only

Stainless Steel /SS (all variation) - TC and power mode

Ti (Titanium) - TC only
