I am a very new member)))) just want to thank everyone who create this wonderful, nessesery forum!!! I am soooo glad I found this forum!....
I am very new to e-cigs---trying to quit smoking ciggarets (30 years!!!!!Oh, my!!!!-1-1.5 pack a day)-so I was very sceptical of e-cigs. I looked through internet and all commercial sites-and ordered Volcanos starters- $22 for battery and 2 cartriges....- and it WORKS!!!!!! I am sooo exited!!!!! I didn't smoke sigs for 2 days!...but! battery works only 30 min max, charger got broken( I fixed it)))) juice cartrige is good for 1 day, vipor is not like real cig!!!
Looking to get something different, got all confused after reading different sites reviews)))
After I found this forum which is by the way totally crisp informative! I understood to get eGo or 510 or 580?....
If someone kindly help me to resolve what would the best for heavy smoker-battery life-wise and juice like real tobacco?
AND - if to ad cartomizer to a 3-piece and use like 2-pc when I like it? is it possible?....
AND-may be someone can point meto latest best vendesr selling kits and juices/cartomizers?....is it really different and time consuming to use atomizers instead of cartomizers? what is a life time for filled tank? is it longer then cartomizer?
AND last Q- what do you think of V2 cigs? are they really so good as adverised?
Thank to everyone who reed this post!!!

Heyas Inna,

Welcome to the ecf, and woot on the decision to replace smoking with vaping!

With the holidays approaching, you can find some great deals in this thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/pay-forward-pif/85781-deals-steals.html .

Or, if you just want a great kit from a very reputable vendor that ships very fast and reliably, you might want to consider a riva 510 kit from E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings . Use the 20% off button in the upper left corner, and the riva 510 kits can be had starting at ~$30.

There are tons of options, and lots of suggestions headed your way :p , but although everyone has their favorites, I don't think anyone here will disagree that the riva kits from liberty flights are a great way to start. Oh, and they can be used with cartos also.

btw, I don't actually own a riva. I use an ego and a few different mods. But I've ordered from liberty flights several times now and found them to have excellent service. And, so many here speak highly of the riva kits that they must be pretty awesome.

Hope this helps :D

An eGo is a great starter that many people like. Its a 3.4V. Personally I like the 3.7Vs because you can use a wider array of atty/cartos with it. The Riva/kGo/ and E-Power are all good 3.7V devices that are easy to use and not expensive. The are all 510 connections so you can use a lot of different attys/cartos.
All of them you could use cartomizers on, and most people prefer cartomizers over an atty/cartridge.
I use an E-Power and love it. Its the only one of the 4 I mentioned that uses non-proprietary batteries. With the E-Power, you can take the battery out of the tube and put it another. With all the others the tube, battery, and switch are all one piece. The Riva is a great PV and Liberty Flights has a great deal for it. THe only thing I dont like about those though, is that if you need a new battery or your switch dies, you have to replace the whole unit. With the E-Power, everything is replaceable and can be bought seperately so it really keeps costs down. Plus E-Power batteries cost $4 comared to eGo/Riva/kGo batteries that are $14-20, and the E-Power batteries last alot longer before they need to be replaced.
You get 2 batteries with the E-Power kit and they are 1050mah. I get about a day to a day and a half on one battery, and its very easy to carry a spare with you. The batteries are about the size of a AA but alittle longer. That was important to me so thats why I went with the E-Power. All of them are great kits though.
If not the E-Power, Id go with the Riva or kGo. They are both awesome too and would give you what your looking for.

If you like the E-Power, check out Crystal Clear Vaping. They have a great kit and you get over $25 in free stuff with it.
You get a free 5-pack of Ressurector cartomizers, a free 30ml juice of your choice, and free shipping
Put in ecf5off and youll get 5% off the order. Its an awesome deal and will give you everything you need to get started.

Goodluck and welcome to ECF!!!

If you don't mind carrying a box mod around and you want convenience of having juice with the mod, I would recommend going straight to a Reo Grand. They should be available on the 25th last time I checked. You might want to try a couple of different ohm rating atomizers as well as cartomizers. I really like 1.5 ohm dual coil cartomizers. My wife prefers 2 ohm cartomizers. I have yet to find tobacco juice that taste like tobacco. Box mods aren't for everyone. And if you do get one be prepared to answer lots of questions. "What's that!"
