Hi guys,
I'm from Ottawa, Canada, 53 years old, quit smoking analog cigarettes a month ago. I was a heavy smoker for last 36 years.
vaping is great, no more smell on my clothing, no more smoking outside in winter, I fell better, breath better, no more occasional headaches from smoking.
I'm not looking back.
There is a lot to learn about vaping, this forum was real discovery for me.
I still didn't find right ejuce flavor, it takes time, I assume.
I like technical stuff, today I rebuilt my first ego c atty. I know, it's not worth the efforts, but I enjoyed doin' it.
That's it for now, happy vaping, Damir :toast:

Hi epis! Congrats on putting that habit behind you! I had the same problem and went on a mad shopping spree of ejuice. Thankfully I have a couple of local shops that I can go to but there are so many more choices online. I was a smoker for 25 years and have been quit since April of this year. I couldn't be happier. I have got my mother on the band wagon as well and she loves it too! Still working on my father, I'll keep my fingers crossed. Keep searching and don't be afraid to try many different flavors. Even in gong nuts on buying juice, I still spent less than I would have on buying cigarettes :)

Hey man! Welcome aboard. I got my mom to quit smoking after 25 years of heavy smoking. Keep up the good work. What are you vaping on currently?
Well, it is branded RY4 50/50 16mg from small local shop Smoke FX, my first bottle was Mac Maurier tobbaco flavor 70/30 18mg from Flavour Crafters, it was a lot thinner than this RY4. I can't taste vanilla or caramel in it at all. Not even close to tobacco. I'm just looking for strong tobacco flavor.

Ah, I'm not a big fan of the tobacco flavors, so someone else will have to help you with a recommendation. I do know that my brother likes this one breakfast blend from Gremlin Juice, it's like a vanilla/waffle/tobacco flavor. I've never heard of those brands though, so maybe that is why they weren't very strong in flavor. Look up some of the popular premium e-juices, or do you have a local B&M shop you can hop into and try some?

You may have to let it "steep" leave it in a dark cool place for X amount of time. I know most tobaccos need to be steeped for a month or more. So maybe you received some from a fresh batch. I bet if you let it steep those flavors you aren't tasting will come out. Never throw juice away... instead put them somewhere you'll forget about it and one day you might find a diamond out of the rough

Thanks anyway man :thumb: You know, all this is in grey area in Canada, it's not regulated by the law, but it's not legal to get it across the border.
Most of the juice sold here is made here as well.

Interesting. I have read that shipping to Canada is not offered much so now this makes sense for me.

DIY e juice. Its awesome and more fun than rebuilding. And I know how fun it is to build :). Oh and its cheaper and IMO tastes better because its made for you by you to your liking.
Definitely a good way to keep your mind off having a smoke, it def helped me! Just don't get frustrated building or mixing because that doesn't help XD
Good luck and have fun with it!
