Just to say hi

Hi everyone,

I am new to vapeing just this past week I started. I already feel I have learned so much from this forum. Thank you all for pointing me away from the cig-a-likes I started with an ego twist and a clearomizer. So far so good it has been about 60 hrs for me since I have had a real cig. That is the longest I have gone without smoking a real cig in 20 years.

So much more to learn though thanks to you all.

E-cigs can be a nice crutch while you are transitioning. I've had one friend do that. I had no intention to, but after three months I'm starting to notice I don't need a fix as desperately as I used to and may just start down that path.

Way to go! I started with the same thing -- Ego Twist and a clearomizer. It's been about a month for me now, and I'm absolutely lovin' this! After smoking almost two packs a day for 50 years, I don't have the least desire to pick up another smelly, messy analog (regular cigarette.) Vaping suited me perfectly from the instant I exhaled that first big plume of clean vapor that didn't smell like smoke. It was a "wow" moment.

Been having fun trying out lots of delicious e-juice flavors. I wish I could say I'm saving money. heheh. I would be, if this hadn't turned into such an interesting hobby. Have now added a Provari, tanks, fancy tips...

Whew man this is a busy place. Threads get buried deep very quickly lol. I can't keep up. Everyone around here seems to be really great.

@Poodie - I am liking my ego twist so far, but I have only had it for 6 days so my opinion prolly does not mean much. I think it is a great starter though better than the stuff you get at the drug store or gas station.

@LaraC - I know what ya mean about saving money lol. My wife has already started complaining about the money I have been spending. I keep telling her it is just because am getting started and need to get all the "gear" to be able to keep doing it and staying off the analogs. So far she is buying it but I am already looking at mods I already have a few expensive hobbies (Flying RC helicopters is the main) and I don't really need another. But, I know how I am and I am really liking the taste testing of all these yummy juices as you say.
