Hi

I posted on here a week or so back. Dormouse plus 2 others members (sorry forgotten their names and still working out how to use this great forum.

Anyway, thanks to their advice I started vaping on a Riva 510 (from Liberty Flights in the UK - the guy I spoke with was so helpful) on Sat 29 Oct and am very pleased! Only 2 'real cigs' since I began vaping - I cannot believe how much better I feel about my 'nicotine' addiction. No worries about stinky breath, hair and clothes, smoked filled home, etc. Still love my nicotine, but at least I'm not inhaling the nasties in tobacco.

Will keep you posted.

Thanks again!

PS Any ideas as to using cartomisers very much welcomed, as refilling the empty cartridges is a bit of a hassle?

Congratulations on the switch!! I'm constantly amazed at how easy it is given an open mind and a good PV.

For cartomizers, I suppose it would depend on the type of threading and PV you are using. I just got some XXXL clear dual coil ones that you can drip into instead of using the pesky needle method, and so far (on my first one, second refill) I'm liking them a lot! XXXL DUAL COIL Cartomizers

For now I'm mostly discovering the joys of dripping, but during an 8 hr work day, cartomizers are a must :)

Heyas Lilyclare,

Woot on switching to vaping!

My personal favorite carto for my ego is a smoktech 1.7Ω single coil xl carto. I have to top it off once or twice a day, but it's my favorite as far as vapor production/warmth/taste goes. Everyones tastes are different though. Try a few different ones if you can. I normally just pop off the little rubber cap that comes with them, drip into the carto to fill, let it settle for about 20 mins or so (first fill only. The filler is completely dry when new) and put a driptip on as a mouthpiece.

Also, don't wait until the carto runs dry to top it off. You'll singe the carto and it will have a nasty burnt taste forever after. Most ppl recommend 20%vg or less juice with cartos, as anything thicker might not wick well enough, once again resulting in a singed carto.

Hope this helps. Keep us informed on how it's going.

:D

Yes the Boge LR 2.0's are nice especially on the Rivas. For filling there are many methods but by far the easiest and quickest is a dropper bottle with a Luer lock cap and a 18 gauge needle. No fuss, no muss just drive the needle down the side of the wadding squeeze and pull up as you fill. Throw the condoms away and go bareback :)

Other suppliers have them also.

Yes Boge cartos are quality in the single coil arena. I've used them and they lasted about 2 weeks. Just make sure when they are filled for the first time they are filly saturated all the way to the batt end otherwise you you'll end up with burnt taste. Heavy VG and/ or darker juices will clog them up quicker. Congrats.
Yes dormouse is an amazing asset to this site and I am constantly amazed by her depth of knowledge and patience.
