I'm hooking up sx350j wiring. Can the + wiring of 510 and + battery be connected? Both of them are going to separated spots on the chip
the + of the battery has to go to one point on the chip.
that is the input to the chip.
on the output side of the chip, there is a + output of the chip that has to go to the 510 centerpin.

Yeah as a expected. Because of that I was thinking of putting my battery negative first. So I'll just make a c frame connecting to my 510.
Will you get irritated if battery have to go in negative first?
Sx350j have battery reverse protection so I think it won't blow up I guess lol

Hi @Edrick and welcome to the forum.
We won't get irritated, but you should know that it's not a good design to hook the negative of the battery directly to the 510. If the wrapper of the battery ever gets damaged and comes in contact with the body of the mod (assuming the mod is metal, which most are), it will be like holding the button down on a mech mod and will auto-fire wtih no way to shut it off but get the battery out quickly - pretty dangerous.
Of course, you're free to design it as you like, but be VERY careful if you design it that way - you could hurt yourself or others.

I need to join a wire from the battery negative with 510 negative as well if I put positive battery in first. Let's say if I do this setup and the battery wrapper get damaged. Will it be auto firing as well? I'll be using wood box btw
